How to prepare for a workout

Get into the correct body position. Spread your feet shoulder-width apart. Keep your back straight and relax your shoulders. Bend your elbows at or near a right angle.

Pick up the right items. These can be tennis balls or special juggling balls. If you don't want to buy anything, start with anything that is rounded. Even tangerines will do. The main thing is that they are of the same weight and size.

It is important that you feel comfortable holding the two selected items in one hand. For convenience, in what follows we will refer to objects as balls.

How to learn to juggle two balls

This option does not look very impressive, but it will prepare you for juggling with three or even more objects.

To stretch your arms, start with one ball. Take it and throw it from one hand to the other. The trajectory should go slightly above the head. Try to make the ball fall into your other hand as accurately as possible so that you can catch it without unnecessary movement.

When you get it right, take the ball in both hands. Likewise, throw the first object from one hand to the other. And when he is at the highest point, throw the second ball towards him with your other hand. Remember to catch falling objects with each hand immediately after throwing.

Repeat these steps until you know how to do it almost without pauses. If it doesn't work, try starting with the other hand.

The most common mistake is to throw balls horizontally over the bottom. If you want to learn how to juggle three or more objects, you need to overcome yourself and abandon this approach. Toss balls on top, otherwise nothing will come of it.

How to learn to juggle three balls

Proceed to this exercise only after you have mastered the previous one.

As a warm-up, take two balls in either hand and one in the other. Toss an extra object between your hands so that each of them gets used to two balls. As in the previous exercises, the flight path should be above the head.

When you feel confident in yourself, start the main stage of your workout.

Take two balls in your dominant hand and throw one of them into the other. After that, exchange the thrown object with balls, first in one and then in the other hand. An exchange means catching a thrown ball and throwing another ball towards it - with the same hand.

If you learn to repeat the alternate exchange of balls with your left and right hands, you will get the following sequence:

Repeat the exchange of balls with each hand, gradually increasing the number of iterations. With regular practice, you will learn to juggle for a long time.

How to learn to juggle four balls

This technique is much more difficult than the previous ones. To master it, first learn to juggle with fewer objects.

If you are ready, take two balls in each hand. Throw the ball with your dominant hand. When he is at the highest point, throw two balls in turn with the other hand and at the same time catch an object flying towards him with it. Throw the remaining one with your dominant hand. Immediately catch the oncoming ball, throw it in and catch the second oncoming ball. The further process will be a repetition of these movements.

Yes, it is not easy to comprehend the listed actions. It is even more difficult to repeat them. But you will greatly simplify your task if you notice one pattern. If you count the throws of the balls, then after the first, the further process consists of alternation: two throws with the left hand, two with the right. See for yourself:

Concentrate on the number of shots and hone your movements. But don't expect quick results. This technique can take weeks to master.

How to learn to juggle five balls

This technique is so difficult that it can take months of training. There is no sense in explaining something in this case. It will be much easier for you to understand the essence of the video on the Nils channel.

The only thing we want to pay attention to: focus on the sequence of the throws. If, in the case of four objects, the hands alternated every other time (left, left, right, right), then with five balls, throws are performed strictly in turn.
