Almost all the alternatives to mobile Safari in the App Store use standard Webkit at their heart. Therefore, developers, in order to somehow stand out from the competition, have to invent more and more new features.

No, you won't find tabs or flash player support in Push Browser for iPhone. Its appearance and the principle of organization of the interface / windows correspond as much as possible to the original browser for iOS. But the main useful feature is the support for push notifications.

With their help, you can send web links between iOS devices or computers without "unnecessary gestures". So far, only a special extension for Google Chrome is responsible for the latter possibility (the author of the application is already creating add-ons for Safari and Firefox). It happens this way:

  • We register in a special service.
  • In the Push Browser settings (right in the application), we indicate the data of our account, with which the mobile gadget is associated.
  • We do the same with other devices (including the browser).
  • Now you can send a link to the current page through a special menu item.

Similarly, the web address is sent from the desktop browser to other computers and iOS devices.

I must say that the "responsiveness" of the interface is another great advantage of Push Browser. Perhaps, on the latest generations of devices this is not so noticeable, but for more "older" mobile gadgets, the difference in the speed of the interface is visible to the naked eye.

Other advantages of the application include the presence of the Private Browsing mode and the choice of User Agent (Mobile Safari or Firefox 3.6).
