Most of us write in online diaries - someone writes long, detailed articles on the case, someone puts on the network short notes from their personal lives (popularly called lytdybrom). However, behind all this network tinsel and ersatz communication, we forgot that the diary was originally something intimate and personal. Hundreds, thousands of diaries written by hand by our ancestors have never been read by anyone - eh, it was a cool century. It's time to bring it back!
For lovers of self-digging, a small original service has appeared on the network under the self-explanatory name OhLife (it can be loosely translated as “Oh, life”). The essence of the service is simple.
Every day at eight o'clock in the evening you will receive a letter in the mail with an offer to describe everything that happened in your life today. Any facts, interesting observations and notes - write this directly in response to the letter that came and send, attach pictures or photographs.
All your thoughts about the day ahead will be posted on the service in a simple and understandable diary format - you can always go back, for example, a month ago and see what you thought and sighed about that day.
The key feature of the service is that this diary will be purely personal and private - you will not be able to share your observations. But on the other hand, you can always save them in a text file - as a keepsake for posterity. Of course, the service is absolutely free.
OhLife is a convenient and very beautiful service for those who have something to tell themselves. A sort of twitter for myself. At first the idea seems simple and naive, but then you quickly get involved! And the format of keeping a diary is also very convenient - no tedious admin panels and viziviks, all communication with OhLife takes place through mail.
