We wrote about the importance of keeping a personal diary (not a blog for display!) In a separate article, and here we shared the best tools for this. For myself, I settled on the Day One software package, but today it has a strong and interesting competitor - Grid Diary.

The main feature of Grid Diary consists in its questions, to which you answer every day - “what did you do useful today”, “three best things in a day”, “how much money you spent”, “what are your plans for tomorrow”, etc. Thus, the problem of what to write in a personal diary disappears. By the way, you can change the questions for your own if you don't like these.

The program works in horizontal and vertical mode. There is a search for previous records, which, by the way, are synchronized via iCloud. They can also be downloaded for local reading in text or PDF format.

Grid Diary has a fantastically beautiful and user-friendly gesture-based interface. The application is currently available only for iPhone and iPod Touch.
