Load your hips and abs properly, and then try a cool exercise to test flexibility, balance, and strength in your legs.
This set from professional trainer Kaisa Keranen combines strength exercises with body weight, some yoga poses and dynamic stretching. To do this, you only need a mat, a timer and a desire to properly pump your flexibility, balance and strength.
Don't try to force your range of motion to avoid injuring your muscles - exercise smoothly and don't tolerate pain. If you have any health problems, consult your doctor before performing.
The workout includes the following exercises:
- Split with a lunge and forward leg.
- "Scissors" in a wide range.
- Leap to the arms from the "bear" plank and exit to the downward dog pose.
- Running on the spot with access to the warrior pose III.
- Alternating legs in deep lunge.
Try these movements in an interval training format. Do each movement for 40 seconds, then rest for 20 seconds and move on to the next. If you are a beginner, you can do the exercises for 30 seconds and rest the rest of the minute.
