What is a smartphone subscription

This is a service that allows you to take your favorite Samsung smartphone and use it for a year, paying only 50% of the original cost. This amount is broken down into fixed monthly payments.

You don't need to remember about the monthly payment all the time: it is debited automatically directly from the subscriber's mobile account. In addition, the client receives a 10% discount on the subscription fee of his tariff throughout the year.

After 12 months, the customer can exchange their used smartphone for a newer, more current model, continuing to pay for the subscription. In this case, the contract will be updated, and the subscription price will be recalculated up or down, depending on the cost of the new device.

The used gadget will be taken back in the MTS salon. Even devices that are slightly shabby by life can be returned - there is no need to worry about small scratches and chips.

How it works

  1. You come to the MTS salon and choose the required Samsung smartphone model. You can subscribe not only to flagship devices, but also to more affordable devices.
  2. An MTS specialist draws up a smartphone subscription agreement provided by MTS Bank. You are immediately calculated a monthly payment, which includes the subscription fee for the MTS tariff plan. You do not need to buy a new SIM card, it is enough to connect the current MTS tariff plan - Tariffische, Our Smart, Tariff X or My Smart.
  3. After 12 months, come to the MTS salon, hand over your "subscription" gadget, choose a fresh model and renew your subscription.

In case you get so used to your device that you don't want to change it to a new smartphone, MTS provides a simple buyback procedure. To do this, you do not need to come to the MTS salon - it is enough to continue the monthly payment for another six months. In this case, all your obligations to MTS Bank will be closed. With this option, the final cost of the device will still be less than the original price by about 20%, so you don't lose anything and even save a little.

What is the difference between a subscription and a classic installment plan

The monthly payment for a smartphone by subscription is about half that of a regular installment plan.

If you take a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for 69,990 rubles in installments for 12 months, then along with the monthly subscription fee for the tariff, you will have to pay about 6,400 rubles every month. When subscribing, MTS makes a 10% discount on communications throughout the year, and the same Note 9 with the same tariff plan will cost about 3,500 rubles.

Briefly about what a smartphone subscription gives

  • You will always have an up-to-date Samsung model.
  • You don't need to think about what to do with your old phone - just come to the MTS salon and renew your subscription.
  • You do not pay the entire cost of a smartphone, but about 80%. Monthly payments come out less than if you took the phone in installments or on a loan with interest.
  • You save on communications thanks to a 10% discount on mobile communications.
