1st stage. We cleanse and moisturize

In summer, the secretion of the sebaceous glands increases. We sunbathe, sit under air conditioners, take a steam bath in transport - the skin loses moisture. If the summer is really hot, even girls with oily skin can feel peeling and tightness.

Proper care and gentle cleansing will help keep the activity of the sebaceous glands under control. Wash your face regularly, cleanse your face with alcohol-free toners, and be sure to apply light moisturizers with SPF protection and serums or creams with hyaluronic acid.

But the use of thermal water, which many consider a must-have summer remedy, is rather controversial. Here is what Adel Miftakhova, a girl with a scientific approach to beauty, writes about this product:

Thermal water usually contains some kind of salt, and salt draws out the water. That is, thermal water will dehydrate, not moisturize. Watering yourself with it during the day, on the beach or on an airplane, only makes it worse.

2nd stage. Even out the complexion

It is better to choose a light foundation for the summer: it is important that you feel comfortable in hot weather. Lightweight foundations are often "diluted" with caring ingredients and feel comfortable throughout the day. The main thing is not to forget about committing.

For everyday make-up in the summer, it is better to switch to a tinted moisturizer. CC- and BB-creams and cushons are also suitable. Use concealer to hide severe imperfections.

To achieve the lightest possible coverage, you can apply the foundation with a damp sponge. It picks up less product and distributes it better.

In summer, dense compact or creamy powders should be replaced by transparent loose or pressed finely ground powders designed to fix makeup.

Use loose powder. They even out the complexion and do not clog the pores.

3rd stage. Apply blush

Blush is a real must-have of the season. They're easy to use, refresh your makeup and are absolute favorites for the latest fashion shows and magazine covers.

Dry blush in the heat often disappears from the skin, dissolving in the secretions of the hydrolipid layer (sweat and sebum). Prefer creamy textures.

For stability, cream blush must be fixed with powder, which we wrote about above.

For a simple and trendy make-up, apply some blush pink or peach to the apples of your cheeks, eyelids and lips. Use a highlighter to add radiance to your skin, brush your brows with gel and apply mascara to highlight your eyes. It looks very nice and fresh.

4th stage. Paint eyes

In general, it is recommended to use a waterproof liner and appropriate mascara in the summer. But for the mucous membrane and the lower eyelid, it is quite possible to use pencils (even wax). Even if it does bleed, by the end of the day you will have just a trendy grunge makeup.

5th stage. We paint lips

6th stage. Fixing the makeup

Special fixative sprays will help to save your face in the summer heat. Their mission is to bond creams and powders together, which is why sprays are always used over powder. This is especially true for wedding and any other festive makeup.

You can find two types of makeup fixers in stores.

Professional fix sprays

Fix cosmetic products for up to 12 hours. Look for them in the make-up department. Many sprays are multifunctional: they can be used to moisturize before applying makeup or protect the skin from aggressive environmental influences.

Mist Sprays

These are, in fact, moisturizing tonics and mist with the additional function of fixing makeup. They are usually sold in beauty care departments. Unlike conventional fixatives, which are usually sprayed onto the face once the makeup is ready, mist sprays are recommended to be applied after each stage of makeup.

7th stage. Correcting makeup

Matting napkins are also a summer must-have.

They remove oily shine, restoring freshness to the skin without compromising the integrity of the make-up. They are made from rice or bamboo paper and impregnated with a special matting solution.

If you feel that your makeup melts in the heat, like ice cream, with a light movement, without pushing the tone, dab your face with a matting napkin. Then you can powder yourself.
