1. Stuffed toys

Place each toy in a separate laundry bag and wash in cold water (hot water can melt the glue) with half the usual amount of powder. Then rinse the toys again and dry.

2. Mop head

Don't be afraid to wash the microfiber attachments; nothing will happen to them in the machine. Removable attachments are removable for easy removal and washing.

3. Potholder

Wash mittens and potholders as usual with kitchen towels. By the way, potholders are useful not only in the kitchen: they can also be used to unscrew a hot light bulb or trim thorny bushes.

4. Baseball cap

Spray it with stain remover if necessary and let it sit for five minutes. Then start a short wash cycle with cold water. After washing, straighten the baseball cap and leave to dry.

5. Sneakers

Take out the laces and put them in a laundry bag to keep them from tangling. Now take out the insoles and send the sneakers to the car. To prevent them from knocking when washing, place a few towels with them. Add the usual amount of powder, and to get rid of the unpleasant smell, a little vinegar. Choose a gentle wash with cold water.

6. Small toys

Place small toys such as Lego bricks, rubber bath toys, or pet toys in a laundry bag and use a gentle wash with cold water.

7. Pillows

Wash two pillows at a time with warm water on a gentle wash. Do not forget to include an additional rinse and spin. To keep the pillows fluffy, place a few rubber balls in the machine while drying.

8. Plastic shower curtain

Wash it in cold water with the usual amount of powder, adding a few towels to the machine.

9. Backpack

Take everything out of your pockets, and if there are a lot of crumbs and debris in them, vacuum them. Then place the backpack in a laundry bag or pillowcase and wash gently with cold water and a little powder. Leave to air dry.

10. Sports mat

Even if the label states that the rug cannot be machine washed, nothing terrible will happen from this. Wash it once a month without soap, you can even tumble dry at medium temperature.

11. Bath mat

First, shake out the rug well outside, and then put it in the machine along with the bath towels. Wash gently with cold water and half the usual amount of powder and air dry. Remember that rubberized mats cannot be dried in the dryer.

12. Grocery bag

Canvas bags can be washed with hot water and powder as usual and even tumble dry. It is worth doing this more often, because we put them in baskets in the store, in the trunk and on the floor, and then on the kitchen table.

13. Sports equipment

Wash all equipment (knee pads, elbow pads, shoulder pads, shin pads, gloves) at least once a month. Fasten all the Velcro so that things don't get messed up with each other, or even better, put them in separate bags for washing. Add half the usual amount of powder and wash as usual.

14. Beds and beds for pets

Remove the cover and wash in cold water with powder. Soak the inner foam part of the bed in warm water and soap, then rinse and air dry.

15. Sports bag

It accumulates dirt and a lot of bacteria. Wash your bag gently in cold water. Check your pockets for anything left before washing.
