How to draw a standing cartoon wolf
What is needed
- Paper;
- simple pencil;
- eraser;
- black pen or liner;
- colour pencils.
How to draw
Draw a circle with a simple pencil. From above it is slightly widened, from below it is narrowed. You will get the head of a wolf. Make another one inside the shape, but several times smaller. This will show the muzzle.
Mark the nose with a horizontal oval. Draw a line under it, make an arc even lower. This is the mouth, from which the fangs protrude - inverted triangles.
Draw two circles above the muzzle. Draw eyes inside them. These are halves of ovals with curved lines at the bottom. Don't forget to show the irises.
The ears of the wolf are two massive triangles. Draw two smaller triangular shapes inside them. Draw a rounded body, which is smaller in size than the head. Make another circle inside, but small. Give the muzzle an oval shape.
Draw paws, similar to elongated rectangles, rounded at the tips. Outline the tail and sharp claws.
Trace the outline of the drawing with a black pen or liner. Erase the pencil sketch with an eraser.
Paint over the head, body and legs with black pencil. Note that the shade is brighter at the edges of the picture, paler towards the center. Adjust the saturation by pressing harder or lighter on the pencil.
Shade the muzzle, circles around the eyes, tips of the paws and tail with gray. Add black to the claws, nose and the space between the teeth.

How to draw a sitting cartoon wolf
What is needed
- Paper;
- simple pencil;
- black pen or liner;
- eraser;
- colour pencils.
How to draw
Draw the closed eye of the wolf. It is a vertical, bold arc with small segments at the tip at the bottom. Draw a curved eyebrow above the piece, and a few strokes below it.
To the right of the element and slightly above, draw a triangular nose. Release curved lines from the shape to show the elongated muzzle. Under the bottom, outline the chin.
Draw a rounded forehead. The fur on the back of the wolf's head is a little tousled - use short strokes to show this. The ear is triangular in shape. Draw another one behind it, but keep in mind that it is not fully visible.
Show the chin with a line segment, and the lower part of the head with a dashed curved line.
Draw a bulging chest. The wool on it also sticks out a little, so you need to outline the hairs schematically. Draw the front foot. It consists of two line segments and arcs. Show the second one behind her.
Draw the hind leg. Note that she is bent at the knee. The foot should be rounded. Show the wolf's curved back and curvy, upturned tail.
Trace the outline of the drawing with a pen or liner.
Erase the auxiliary sketch with an eraser. Shade the wolf with a gray pencil. Leave the chest, muzzle, tips of the feet and the inside of the ear white. Make the nose black.

Adorable big-eyed wolf cub:
How to draw a cartoon wolf face
What is needed
- Paper;
- simple pencil;
- eraser;
- black pen or liner;
- colour pencils.
How to draw
Make two tilted lines. Add arcs to their tips - these are the eyelids of the wolf. Shade the lower parts of the details. Mark rounded irises under them, inside - pupils.
Use zigzag, curved lines for the eyebrows, and the inverted triangle for the nose. Draw two bumps under the eyes.
Draw two arcs on the sides of the nose, connect them with a segment from below. This is a muzzle. Add bumps on the bridge of the nose, draw a line between the eyes.
Draw two fangs. In fact, these are two elongated inverted triangles. There should be a jaw with small teeth between them. The tongue is a semicircle with a dash in the middle.
The lower canines are several times smaller than the upper ones. Between these elements there are also small teeth, below there is an uneven lip.
The wolf's head has a rounded shape, the chin is curved. On these details, you need to schematically show the protruding wool.
Outline the triangular ears, make a small line inside them. Draw the back of the head with a curved zigzag line. Trace the contours of the drawing with a black pen or liner.
Erase the pencil sketch with an eraser. Paint over the muzzle with gray. Leave the space around the eyes, the inner parts of the ears, the sides of the bridge of the nose, muzzle, mouth, cheeks and chin empty.
Make the nose and mouth black, the jaw and tongue pink. The eyes will be yellow. Add a blue tint to the bottom of the head.

Very neat wolf profile:
The simplest way to depict a muzzle:
How to draw a standing realistic wolf
What is needed
- Paper;
- simple pencil;
- eraser;
- large round object;
- black felt-tip pen.
How to draw
Place the round object on the paper and trace around it to form an arc. Draw a circle on the bend of the shape on the left. This will be the chest of the wolf.
To the right, make another shape, but slightly smaller than the previous one. The shape will help to draw the back of the body. Show your head in a circle too. For the muzzle, outline an oval.
Use a curved line to show the neck and back. Outline the paws. They consist of two segments, which are widened at the top and narrowed at the bottom. Note that the hind leg is bent in the middle.
Draw a triangular nose. Make the transition from muzzle to head smoother. Draw an ear that looks like a half oval with a pointed tip. The eye is a slight straight line, the mouth is a curved line. On the neck, add strokes for fur.
Trace the outlines of the back and abdomen. Draw rounded feet with toes. Show the second pair of paws, these details are only partially visible.
Outline a small drooping tail - for this you need to depict a vertical arc. Start tracing the drawing with a felt-tip pen. Along the way, sketch out the protruding hairs. For example, on the legs and body. Put some dots on the face. The mouth should be made wider.
To prevent the wolf from floating in the air, sketch out the shadow under it. To do this, make long horizontal strokes.

This method is suitable for novice artists:
How to draw a realistic wolf in motion
What is needed
- Paper;
- simple pencil;
- eraser.
How to draw
Draw a massive circle - later it will help to draw the animal's chest. On the left, add another shape for the back of the body, it should be slightly smaller.
Make a small circle on the right for the head. Draw an arc to the workpiece - this is the muzzle. For now, mark the ears with triangles.
Mark the paws of a running wolf with broken lines. The folds are in the joints. Outline the curved neck, back, and abdomen. For the tail, sketch out a small, smooth line for now.
Draw the wolf's almond-shaped eye. Place the round pupil inside. Mark small folds above and below the detail. Draw the angular nose and nostril.
Show the mouth with a broken, curved line. Draw the chin slightly below: use a similar shape, but shorter. Make the bridge of the nose brighter. Sketch the hair on the ears, forehead and on the left side of the head.
Shape the front legs. To do this, draw two more near the auxiliary line. They are widened at the top and bend at the joints. The tip of the foot closer to you appears to be pointed. The paw is slightly deployed behind, so protruding rounded pads are visible. Don't forget to label wool.
The hind legs are drawn in the same way. Draw the hairs on the wolf's belly. Make the tail fluffy.
Using the eraser, carefully erase the guide lines inside the drawing. Shade the belly, lower part of the tail, chest, chin and the space behind the ears. You can stop at this point, but if you want to make the beast more realistic, continue.
Draw dark fur on the head and body. Make small lines - the more there are, the more natural the coat will be. Remember that the wolf is running, so the hairs stretch to the left.

Drawing such a wolf is easier than it seems:
How to draw a realistic wolf face
What is needed
- Paper;
- simple pencil;
- round plate;
- black felt-tip pen or marker.
How to draw
Place the plate on the paper and circle it. You will end up with a large circle. Draw a long vertical line inside the shape and a horizontal line perpendicular to it.
Draw two more on the sides of the vertical line. At the corners that they create with the horizontal line, sketch out round irises. Mark the nose with an inverted triangle with a rectangle on top.
Draw large, triangular ears. From the tip of the nose, release two arcs in opposite directions. Add another one under the shapes - the mouth of the wolf.
Take a black felt-tip pen or marker. Circle the irises. Draw the almond shape of the eyes and show the tiny pupils. Paint over the nose tightly, cover the rectangle above it with oblique lines.
Circle the ears. Draw curved lines from the tips to the back of the head to make them voluminous. Inside the parts themselves, sketch out the tufts of wool. Fur also needs to be marked on the top of the head.
Draw short strokes under the ears. They curve at eye level. Draw the eyebrows.
Using curved, intermittent segments stretching from the eyes to the nose, mark the elongated muzzle. Circle the mouth, put dots above it. Draw a mustache and long fur on the cheeks. Make a stroke on the forehead. Erase the pencil lines with the eraser.
