How to draw a bike with a black marker or felt-tip pen
What is needed
- Paper;
- black marker or felt-tip pen.
How to draw
Designate the saddle with a triangle-like shape. Paint over the workpiece. Show the seatpost with dashes. The top tube of the frame is a thin strip.
Draw the rear triangle of the frame. Small and large circles are located on its lower corners. From the circle on the right, release a rectangle with a shaded oval at the tip. This is a pedal. Draw the second one.
Mark two parallel slanted lines extending upward from the pedals. Outline the frame head tube and fork. In the example, these parts are indicated by a shape similar to an elongated rectangle. At its lower tip there is a round bushing, from the upper one stretches for the steering wheel.
Draw large wheels with thin tires. Use curved lines to show the chain.

How to draw a bike with a simple pencil
What is needed
- Paper;
- compass;
- simple pencil;
- ruler.
How to draw
Use a compass to mark two circles. Draw another circle inside them to indicate the border of the tires and rims. Use the ruler to draw the knitting needles.
Draw a circle at the intersection of the wheel spokes on the right. Draw another shape between the wheels - this is a bicycle star. Show the narrow stripes that make up the triangular frame.
Add stripes above the wheels. Sketch out the pedals using rectangles. Draw a V-shaped handlebar, making the tips rounded. The saddle resembles a curved triangle.
Circle the knitting needles to make them brighter. Shade the tires using light pressure on the pencil. Within the pinion system, draw a circle with teeth along the outline. Show shadows under the saddle, on the handlebars, and on the bottom of the frame.
Mark the baskets above the wheels - these are inverted trapezoids with slightly curved sides. Inside the parts, place intersecting vertical and horizontal lines - this is how you indicate the texture of the weave. Sketch out the flowers, paint over the spaces between them. Add leaves sticking out in different directions.
Draw a shadow under the wheels on the right. This will not make the bike appear to be floating in the air. Better to do horizontal strokes.

How to draw a bike with colored markers or felt-tip pens
What is needed
- Paper;
- a glass with a narrow neck;
- felt-tip pens or markers.
How to draw
Place the glass with the neck down on the paper. Circle with a blue felt-tip pen. This is the front wheel. Mark the second circle on the side. Step back a little from it and draw a small circle. It will help outline the bike star.
Make a point inside the small circle, and arches near its outlines. Release an oblique strip upward from the figure. There is an arc above the bike sprocket. Show rounded hubs in the wheels. Parallel polylines extend from the element to the left. On top of them there is a steering wheel with rectangular handles.
The saddle resembles a curved triangle. Mark the frame with diagonal stripes. Make a large circle inside the wheels - this will show the boundaries of the tires.
Draw the spokes inside the wheels, and above them the wings. They resemble elongated curved rectangles in shape. The trunk is an inverted triangle with a long base.
To depict a basket, mark an inverted trapezoid floorboard under the steering wheel. The weave texture is indicated by small intersecting strokes. Sketch the flowers. Add pedals - these are small strips with rectangles at the tips.
Paint over the frame and shields above the wheels with a pink felt-tip pen. Use a gray shade for tires.
The saddle and handlebars in the example are light brown. If you don't like this option, take any other color. Make the basket yellow. The colors used are green and pink.

How to draw a bike with pastels
What is needed
- Paper;
- oil pastels;
- compass;
- simple pencil;
- black lead pencil;
- ruler;
- corrector.
How to draw
Before drawing the bike, prepare the background. Shade the top third of the sheet with blue pastels. For the lower part, light and dark green shades are used. Feather the colors, creating smooth transitions between them.
Use a compass to outline the front wheel of the bike. The back part is not completely visible - mark it with an arc. With almost no pressure on a simple pencil, sketch out the frame. It looks like an oblique V. Chain protection - half of the horizontal oval. Show the steering wheel with a line, and the basket with an inverted trapezoid.
Trace the body of your bike with hot pink or crimson pastels. Show the triangular saddle just above the frame.
Draw arched wings above the wheels. Draw a gray strip from the seat to the frame. Draw a rudder made up of a gray vertical line and two black tilted rectangles. Add guidelines for dark tires. Paint over the chain protector.
Add some white highlights to the frame and saddle - this will make the drawing volumetric. Go over the contours of the wheels with a black lead pencil to make the elements smoother. Using a ruler, mark the thin needles and V-shaped basket holder. Show the rims with pastel gray.
Shade the basket with light brown or beige chalk. Complement the detail with small horizontal staggered strokes to indicate the texture of the weave.
Draw flowers. If you compose these figures from small dots, the bouquet will look more interesting. Use purple, yellow, red, green, and white.
Use small bunches of strokes to mark the blades of grass under the bike. Better to take pastels in a dark green shade. Don't be afraid to get on the wheels - this will make the composition look more natural. Use the proofreader to add dots to show the meadow flowers. Add shadow under the bike saddle.

How to draw a bike with paints
What is needed
- Thick paper or canvas;
- acrylic paints;
- wide brush;
- palette knife;
- thin brush;
- sponge for washing dishes.
How to draw
Using a wide brush, cover the entire sheet with white paint. Add some brown and then blend it. You will get a concrete wall. Use the tip of a palette knife to mark thin vertical and horizontal lines to show the street tiles. Apply color to the joint between vertical and horizontal surfaces. Make short, smearing movements.
Draw a large front wheel with a thin brush. In the center of the element, put a point, from it, release a broken line at an angle. This is the head tube of the frame. Show the steering wheel.
Outline the rear wheel. Draw a frame made up of two triangles. Make sure the seat tube is long. Show the bike star - this is a small circle.
Draw arched fenders above the wheels. Above the back part, outline a rectangular basket on a stand, above the front one - a trapezoidal one. Using a palette knife, mark the thin brown and white knitting needles.
Apply a layer of white paint to the upper parts of the wheels with a thin brush. Place dots on the bike star. Outline the entire drawing with black paint. Add shading to the basket on the right.
Cover the baskets with a yellow shade and then add a mesh of lines. To show the plants, apply green paint with a sponge. The bouquets are composed of many yellow, orange and white strokes. Fallen petals can be traced under the bike.
Separate the upper corner of the sheet on the left with a wavy line. Show orange bricks behind it. Make a black strip at the bottom of each.
