The authors of Documents and Scanner Pro, productivity apps familiar to every iOS user, worked on the new product. Spark is an email client with an abundance of settings and useful functions that you can safely use as the main one.

Spark welcomes you with a variety of settings, ways to organize your mailbox, and smart functionality. An inexperienced user of technology and fans of minimalism may even be scared off by this. You have to choose between a mailbox and its smart counterpart, assign actions to swipes, deal with the search bar and the integration of third-party services.

The main focus of the Spark developers is on smart features. The app automatically collects incoming messages and organizes them into New, Newsletters, Pins and Inbox categories. Their display order corresponds to the above and determines the model for working with letters in the new product. The first thing you do is parse new emails, read or immediately clear the newsletter block. You pin important messages in the Pins section (analogous to the list of important tasks), and the rest - in the Inbox. At any time, you can switch to the usual mode of displaying all letters.

Apart from the Smart Inbox and Inbox mentioned above, Spark has Archive and Attachments sections. If everything is clear with the first one, then I have never seen the attachment page anywhere. There are collected letters with the appropriate filter, it is convenient to view them, forward, reply to them.

I was pleased with the appearance of the page of a separate letter. Spark's designers have removed unnecessary elements, leaving as much space for text and attachments as possible. This makes it easy to view messages even on the small screen of iPhone 5.

Another innovation in working with emails is quick replies. According to the developers, most of the answers can be replaced with three actions: Like, Thanks and Smile.

The organization of letters is tied to four swipes: short to the left - add or remove from favorites, long - postpone the letter in time; to the right, respectively, archive and delete. A random action can be canceled by shaking the smartphone or the Undo button in the lower right corner. This feature will definitely come in handy: the usual swipe to the right to bring up the side menu in Spark sends emails to the archive, which is pretty annoying.

A separate section of Spark personalization is responsible for reorganizing the menu, swipe actions and widgets. You can also customize the read reports of letters, notifications, signatures, sound alerts. There you will also find the linking of the mail client to third-party services. Cloud storage is represented by Dropbox, Box, OneDrive and Google Drive, deferred reading services - Pocket, Instapaper and Readabilty, notes - OneNote and Evernote.

Another reason for the pride of the developers of the novelty is the smart search bar. The application correctly processes queries formulated in ordinary language and will return relevant results for a query like "pdf attachments from david". Naturally, for now, this feature is only available in English. In addition, Spark finds files by name or type, and saves frequently used queries.

Readdle has managed to create the most customizable and functional email client. Its disadvantages are the impossibility of multiple choice at a time for investments and unstable work.
