Some Samsung smartphones no longer need to enter a password to log into their computer. It is enough to put your finger on a special sensor.
The updated Samsung Flow app brings Windows Hello support. The feature allows you to use the fingerprint scanner on Galaxy S6, S7 and S8 smartphones as an alternative to a password.
To use the function, launch Samsung Flow app on your phone and pair your computer via Bluetooth in Windows 10 software. Then enter your Windows PIN and place your finger on the smartphone's sensor.
Samsung also added to the app the ability to view phone notifications on a computer. Previously, this feature was only present on Samsung laptops, but is now available on all Windows 10 computers.
An update for Samsung Flow will be available to all users shortly. For the new features to work, you must update Windows 10 to the latest version.
