The developers have added eight selfie filters to the application, among which there are hare and koala ears, a multi-colored wreath and a crystal crown. To try them out, just start the camera on Instagram and click on the icon in the lower right corner of the screen.
Filters work with both front and rear cameras. They can be applied not only to photos, but also to videos, as well as looping videos in the Boomerang format. Such publications can be sent via direct messages and added to Stories.
Other creative tools have appeared on Instagram. Next to the Boomerang and Hands Free buttons, a Write Back feature has been added. With it, you can record a video that is played back in reverse order. The innovation, for example, allows you to see how an object thrown into the air smoothly returns to your hands.
Stickers now also act as hashtags. Click on the sticker icon in the upper right corner of the screen, select an attribute and add it to the story. People who watch the post will be able to click on the sticker to find similar stories. The same goes for regular text hashtags.
The eraser also appeared in the drawing tools. You can erase what you have painted and select individual elements of the photo, leaving everything else painted over.
The innovations appeared in the version of Instagram 10.21, which will be available to all iOS and Android users in the near future.
