The default Chrome browser bookmarks look pretty dull. Sheer asceticism, functionality and no flight of imagination. However, the Bookmark Manager extension proves that Google can create a great bookmark manager that is cute and very easy to use.

Bookmark Manager is an extension from Google for the Chrome browser that makes working with bookmarks convenient and enjoyable. After installing it, a new star-shaped button will appear on the browser toolbar. When you click on it, the menu for adding a site to bookmarks will open, but now it looks completely different. Take a look at the illustration below and see the difference.

As you can see, now when you add a bookmark, a small preview is created and the site description is automatically filled in. You can not only specify the folder for storing bookmarks, but also go directly to the "Bookmarks Manager". In it, by the way, you will find even more striking changes.

With the new bookmark manager, one glance is all it takes to find the site you want. Each is presented in the form of a pictorial picture, has a name and description. In addition, you can add your own notes to each bookmark. To move a bookmark to another folder, you just need to drag it to the new destination. Supports multiple selection and search for all available data, including the notes you added.

The Bookmark Manager extension integrates so well into the browser and enhances the standard favorites manager so much that it's unclear why Google still hasn't included it in the standard Chrome toolkit. Let's hope that this will happen in the next versions of the program.
