Google has released a large number of Android apps, and most of them instantly became the leaders in their categories. It seems that the same fate awaits the new file manager Files Go.

The program was created as part of the Android Go initiative, which aims to create and develop budget smartphones for emerging markets. So it comes as no surprise that the Files Go app weighs only 10MB and runs at reactive speed.

The main window of the program is divided into two tabs: "Storage" and "Files". On the "Storage" tab, you can view a general report on the availability of free space in the device's memory and perform a number of operations to increase it. We are talking about cleaning the system from the application cache, temporary files and other garbage.

Files Go can also find duplicate files and applications that you haven't run for a long time. The program does not automatically delete anything, but only offers a list of detected elements for your final decision.

On the "Files" tab, you can view all user data, divided into categories. Folders are presented as a series of horizontal tabs, with two options for presentation: tiles and thumbnails with details.

When you select any file, a menu of commands becomes available, with which you can rename the element, move or copy it to another location, view its properties.

The Files Go file manager is still in the testing stage, so you won't be able to install it in the usual way from the Google Play directory. But you can download the setup file from APKMirror and install it on your smartphone running Android 5.0 or later.
