An interesting model for those who value convenience at an affordable price.
Wireless headphones have become one of the priority areas for smartphone manufacturers. And as more and more companies enter this fast-growing market, prices creep downward under the pressure of competition. A few years ago, completely wireless headphones cost from 7 thousand rubles, and now you can find quite good models up to 5 thousand. Among these - OPPO Enco W11. We will tell you what is good about the gadget from the Chinese brand.

Design
The headphones are made of white plastic of two grades: glossy, which is located on the outside, and matte - on the inside. The appearance is unassuming, but there are no complaints about the quality of performance: the plastic parts are perfectly matched to each other. Also, the model is protected from moisture and sweat according to the IP55 standard.
The sleek housings fit comfortably in your ears and provide good insulation. The sound guide is short and has a retainer for the nozzles - it will not be difficult to find suitable ones. The set includes three pairs of ear pads of different sizes, a charging case, a USB cable and documentation.
On the outside are touchscreen control panels and microphones. Also, each earphone is equipped with magnetic charging connectors. The USB Type-C case is compact enough to fit in a jeans pocket.
Connection and communication
Typically, smartphone manufacturers try to integrate their devices into an ecosystem, making their sharing more convenient. For example, when pairing gadgets of the same brand, they display a quick connection menu. The OPPO Enco Free had a similar model, but the Enco W11 did without ecosystem chips. Therefore, when working with any smartphone, you will have to go to the Bluetooth settings and select the headphones from the list of devices. However, all further connections occur automatically, you just need to open the case.
Unlike many cheaper models, both channels in the Enco W11 work in parallel and independently of each other. This minimizes time delays.
The novelty behaves well on the street and in transport, but in the apartment the connection is less stable: the Bluetooth signal is reflected from the walls and weakens. And if a blank partition occurs between the headphones and the source, the sound may be interrupted.
For operation in headset mode, a microphone is installed on each side. Also, the manufacturer claims noise suppression during conversation, however, the headphones give in to strong winds: the interlocutors sometimes complained about the intelligibility of the voice in such conditions.
Control
Each earbud has touch-sensitive control pads. With one touch, you can stop and resume playback, a double tap on the left or right is responsible for switching tracks, and holding controls the volume.
This control scheme is logical, convenient and does not require getting used to. Sensors adequately read touches, which is rare for budget gadgets.
Sound
Inside the OPPO Enco W11, dynamic emitters with a diameter of 8 mm are installed. The frequency spectrum 20โ20,000 Hz corresponds to the audible range of the ear. Supported wireless audio codecs SBC and AAC, capable of transmitting a signal with a bit rate of up to 320 Kbps.
When seated deeply, the bass overlaps the rest of the frequencies and hits the ears perceptibly. Constant pressure tires quickly. This is solved by the selection of ear pads for yourself and a less deep fit.
If done correctly, the low frequencies will retain their saturation, but will not overpower the attention. Heavy electronic genres with a low tempo like house and ambient sound especially pleasant.
The higher the pace, the more noticeable the main problem of the OPPO Enco W11. The bass is very inert and sometimes does not keep up with the melody - listening to energetic rock with headphones is no longer so interesting.
The mids come out aloof, the vocals can feel slightly squeezed, as if there is an obstacle in the path of the sound. This can be caused by acoustic dampers in the sound guides. Basic instruments like guitars and keyboards are transmitted normally.
The tightness extends to high frequencies, some compositions sound dull. On the other hand, the headphones do not cut the ears with gross distortion, which is especially important in budget models.
Autonomy
Inside each of the cases of the gadget there are 40 mAh batteries, and the charging case is equipped with a 400 mAh battery. The values are standard for similar models, so you don't have to wait for an exceptional runtime.
Nevertheless, the novelty can withstand four days of active use without recharging the case. The listening volume during the test was 50%, the model was also used in headset mode. It takes 2 hours to recharge the gadget.
Outcomes
OPPO Enco W11 are inexpensive and properly made wireless headphones. They are distinguished from most competitors by convenient touch control, which is rarely found in this price segment. Otherwise, there were no surprises. The novelty justifies the price of 4 thousand rubles.
