The Australian company Atlassian, the owner of JIRA, a task manager loved by programmers, buys Trello. Trello CEO Mark Pryor promises that no changes in pricing and functionality are expected in the near future. Nevertheless, Lifehacker found possible alternatives.
Kanbanchi
Kanban board created by Saratov developers. Made it to the list of recommended apps in the Google store. Visually and in terms of capabilities, it resembles Trello (you can import boards from there).
Among the declared differences: more convenient communication with Google Apps for Work for those companies that conduct document flow there.
Basic functions are available for free. There is no mobile application and Russian language support yet.
Planiro
Nice Russian-language project management system that supports kanban boards.
Each column in Planiro has its own scroll. Tasks can be filtered by author, performer, and tags. Above the boards are icons of performers, when you click on the icon, the tasks of a particular employee are displayed.
Cost - 240 rubles per month for each employee. There is a two-week trial.
Planfix
The Russian-language project management system "Planfix" released in 2014 an update to the "Card", which the company calls it - "an analogue of Trello in Russian."
Differences: more flexible setting of boards (you can collect in one planner window, for example, a board with tasks and a board-calendar), automatic change of task status when moving between boards.
Planfix is free for companies with up to 5 employees.
MeisterTask
A beautiful and convenient project from the developers of MindMeister. There is integration with mind maps, statistics of work results, tracking task execution time, mobile applications for Android and iOS.
The free version has no statistics and you cannot connect more than two external services.
Planner
A competitor to Microsoft's Trello. You can assign deadlines and responsible persons to tasks, attach files to cards.
There are productivity statistics in the form of diagrams and, of course, full integration with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, OneNote files will be automatically synchronized. Mobile devices are supported.
Available to Office 365 subscribers.
Kaiten
Another product for visual control of the workflow.
In Kaiten, you can limit the number of parallel tasks and measure productivity using a chart.
There is a Russian language, an API for sending data and a seven-day trial.
Taskify
Very minimalistic project - you don't even need to register.
There are three standard boards at your service: Tasks, In Progress, and Done. You can attach friends from Facebook, Google+ or Twitter to cards and reset the link to the current topic.
