The key to health is on the move. Physical activity heals all internal organs and systems of the human body much better than any type of therapy and medicine. Unfortunately, most of the world's population does not exercise at all. But with its help, you can significantly extend life.

And it is not just words. Scientists from the University of Saint-Etienne have found a direct link between exercise and life expectancy. They proved that people who exercise regularly are much more likely to live to old age.

For 10 years, French researchers have observed thousands of elderly people from different countries. The results are encouraging: the more people exercise, the lower the risk of dying from heart disease, cancer and other health problems that manifest themselves in old age.

Even 10-20 minutes of charging per day is enough to reduce the risk of premature death by 22%, and reaching a weekly rate of 150 minutes will increase this figure by up to 35%.

However, scientists warn: people of age should not immediately run and play intensively in sports.

“Fifteen minutes of exercise is a very realistic bar for them. By gradually increasing their activity levels, some older adults will be able to achieve the recommended 150 minutes of exercise per week,”said David Hupin, professor at Saint-Etienne University.

So even old age is not a reason not to do exercises. And if you are far from retirement, there is no excuse for you.

Do not give up if you are not interested in doing regular exercises. Look for your type of physical activity. Someone will love fitness, others will find themselves in dancing or swimming. Or maybe yours is yoga or Chinese qigong gymnastics?

If there is neither time nor energy for physical education, do exercises without interrupting work. While sitting at the computer, do not forget to monitor your posture, do not cross your legs and do not strain your neck. Take breaks from work every hour: walk around the office, warm up, look out the window, it will not be superfluous to do light exercises for the eyes.

Take 15 minutes to charge. Remember: this time will come back to you along with additional years of life.
