Taking the Rights Exam in a New Way

From April 1, applicants for a driver's license will take a practical exam only in the city. You no longer need to go through the "site" in the traffic police. True, this does not apply to motorcyclists, both stages remain for them.

Driving skills will be tested on light-traffic streets away from residential buildings. The route will be chosen by the examiner, there are no approved routes. You still need to score less than five penalty points to pass the exam. But for an unfastened seat belt or talking on the phone while driving, the test can be stopped immediately.

The process of passing the exam will be recorded on video, the file will be stored for one year.

Also, the terms of retaking are set: for the theoretical part - from 7 to 30 days, for the practical part - from 7 to 60 days. After the third attempt, in any case, you will have to take a break for 1-3 months.

The ban on the sale of devices without pre-installed Russian software comes into force

From April 1, it is allowed to sell only such devices on which programs created in Russia or the countries - members of the Eurasian Economic Union are installed. It also includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Changes are being made to the law on consumer protection, although they seem to be more of a concern for software manufacturers. The authors of the innovations explain this by the fact that it is more convenient for users to immediately receive devices with Russian programs and not waste time replacing foreign applications with domestic ones. Therefore, it is necessary to install Russian software in advance - sometimes without the possibility of removal.

The list of preinstalled programs is approved by the government. Basically, these are the services of Yandex and Mail.ru Group, there is also the Gosuslug application, as well as MirPay, an application for Mir card holders.

The previous procedure for registration of subsidies for housing and communal services is being returned

Russians with a small income have the right to receive money from the state to pay for utilities. Usually, for this you need to contact your local social security agency or multifunctional center with a package of documents.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the right to receive subsidies was automatically extended for some time so that people did not have to stand in lines. But since April 1, the old algorithm has been in effect: low income must again be confirmed by documents.

Acceptance of documents for recalculation of child benefits opens

In March, new rules for calculating payments for children from three to seven years old came into effect. Previously, they accounted for 50% of the regional children's subsistence minimum. Families where the income for each member was below the subsistence level per capita in the region could apply for them.

Now, depending on the income and property of the family, payments for children can be 50, 75 and even 100% of the subsistence minimum per capita.

Moreover, if the family is entitled to benefits, they are ready to be credited retroactively - from January. For recalculation, you can apply from April 1.

The minimum price for tobacco products is introduced

Until April 1, the maximum cost of tobacco was set in Russia, and the manufacturer could sell products at a price not lower than 25%. Now we decided to go the easier way and set the minimum cost at once. It will be applied to the packaging of tobacco products. It is expected that this year a pack of cigarettes will cost at least 107 rubles.
