How to draw a cartoon standing penguin

What is needed

How to draw

Take black crayon or oil pastels. Draw a large circle just above the center of the leaf. Circle it several times to make the outline bold. This is the head of a cartoon penguin.

Now draw a downward arc. Its tips should come from the bottom of the head. Circle the shape several times. It turned out to be a body.

Draw an inverted triangle in the middle of the circle. Let its base point up and the point down. This is the beak.

From the base of the triangle, draw two arcs that mirror each other. They should be convex towards the center and abut against the outline of the circle. Paint in the space between them. This is the penguin's forehead.

Use small circles to outline the bird's eyes. Under each, make an arc, convex upward.

Draw small leaf-shaped wings on the sides of the bird's body. The part on the right is turned up, on the left it looks down. Paint over both without going beyond the contours.

Draw legs under the body, pointing in opposite directions. In shape, they will resemble the silhouette of boots. If you want, make them in the form of fins.

Mark two circles under the eyes with red chalk. These are the cheeks. Paint the beak and legs in yellow. Apply some orange strokes on top. This will make the details appear brighter.

Take a blue crayon and depict an ice floe on which the penguin is standing. Draw a horizontal line under the feet. At the edges, one should be slightly rounded. On the sides of this part, draw two vertical lines down. Connect them with a wave below.

To show the texture, paint vertical strokes on the ice floe. Draw a small circle above the upturned foot. To make the picture look empty, add dots of different sizes on a white background. This is snow.

How to draw

Use a black marker to mark a horizontal line in the center of the sheet. It should be slightly convex downward. Draw another one just below. Connect them with vertical lines. This is a blank for a scarf.

Make an upward arc over the scarf. In shape, it will resemble a narrow horseshoe or half an oval. This is the head of a penguin. Draw an inverted triangle inside the part: its point is directed downward. Mark the eyes a little higher with circles. Paint over them, leaving some white space for the pupils.

Now depict the penguin's forehead. To do this, make a small curved checkmark at the top of the head. Its curves will be above the eyes, and the tip will be just above the nose.

Draw the ends of the scarf. To do this, find the bottom corner of the workpiece on the right. From it, draw two sloppy triangles sticking out in different directions. Add vertical lines to the bases of the shapes. It's a fringe.

To draw the bird's belly, sketch out a square with rounded corners. It is located under the scarf, but slightly smaller in width. Part of the figure on the left is hidden under the fringe.

The penguin should have small leaf-shaped wings on the sides. Start drawing them from the edges of the scarf, but do not bring them to the body. Let small gaps remain at the bottom.

From the edge of the wing to the right, start drawing a line downward. It should collide with the rounded corner of the square. Make the same line on the other side. Get the sides. Draw legs under the body of the bird. In shape, they will resemble the silhouette of boots.

To draw a hat with earflaps, mark two horizontal lines on the sides of the scarf. Connect them with a line around the head.

At the top of the cap, draw an inverted letter V. On its tip, make several small lines sticking out in different directions. This is a pompom. The same strokes can be used to decorate the "ears" of the cap. Get brushes. At the bottom of the sheet, use a curved line to draw a slide on which the bird stands. The tubercle will go behind the legs.

Take red crayon or oil pastels. Color the penguin's hat and legs. Make the scarf green. The forehead, sides and wings are black. For the nose, orange is suitable.

Lightly shade the muzzle and belly with gray. With the same crayon, add color to the slide. On a white background, make dots of different sizes to represent the snow.

How to draw a cartoon penguin in a hat in motion

What is needed

• Paper;

How to draw

Sketch the circle with a simple pencil. Draw an elongated oblique oval below. These are blanks for the head and body of a penguin that will balance on ice.

Draw a hat on the bird's head - it will move slightly to the left. To do this, draw two arcs on top of each other. One at the top of the circle, the other above it. Connect them with vertical lines on the sides. You will get a rectangle. On it, mark a line curved upward. Draw a pom-pom to it with a semi-oval.

Now mark the open beak. To do this, draw a vertical arc on the right side of the head, convex towards the middle. It will look like a bitten apple. Mark two> signs in the recess. The top should be longer than the bottom. From the tip of the short shape, draw a curved line to the middle of the long one. Make a mouth. Mark the tongue inside with two slashes.

Draw a vertical arc next to the outline of the circle on the left side. This will separate the back of your head and muzzle. Decorate the lapel of the cap with vertical lines. Draw a closed eye. To do this, draw a small line inside the head, convex upward.

Draw a scarf under the head with a line curved downward.

On the sides of the penguin, draw wings pointing upwards. In shape, they will resemble elongated and slightly curved triangles with rounded points. Place them right under the scarf. Due to the fact that the body is tilted, the part on the right side in level should be slightly higher than the opposite.

Now draw the ends of the scarf fluttering in the wind. From the right side of the workpiece, draw a light, curved line to the side. Let it climb slightly onto the wing. Do the same next to it. Connect the ends with a small piece. Repeat on the left side, but the tip of the scarf should seem to come out from behind and aim upwards.

Now draw the penguin's paw standing on the ice. To do this, draw two small lines down from the body. Do not make the distance between them too large, otherwise the leg will appear thick. Draw two more small lines from the ends of the segments in different directions. Connect them in a zigzag pattern. This is the membrane.

The second paw, on the right, will look like it is hovering in the air. To draw it correctly, draw two lines from the body, looking to the right side of the sheet. From their ends, also extend two small lines in opposite directions. Connect them in a zigzag pattern.

At the bottom of the torso, on the left side, add a small ponytail. In shape, it should resemble a triangle lying on its side. Draw another oval inside the torso. It will be a white belly.

Take the black pen. Paint over the white space around the tongue. Then outline the outline of the head, beak and cap. Make the pompom fluffy. To do this, put several points inside the part. Draw small strokes around the edges of the shape. Let them be directed in different directions. Add a few more dots under the eyes.

Circle the outline of the scarf. Put vertical lines along its entire length, then it will turn out to be striped. Add small strokes to the ends of the detail. It's a fringe. Then black out all the other pencil lines on the body, tail, wings and legs.

Draw the horizon in the background of the drawing with a broken line. To indicate the shadow of the bird, make casual strokes near the right paw.

Take black marker. Paint over the back of the head, wings, tail and sides of the penguin.

Use an orange pencil to shade the beak and legs. Apply the red color to the hat, tongue and part of the stripes on the scarf. Add some light purple strokes to the bottom of the blank motifs. This will show the shadow and add volume to the detail.

With a black pen, add some strokes next to the wings and scarf. This will show that the penguin is struggling to balance on the ice, trying not to fall.

What is needed

How to draw

Draw a small circle on the right side of the sheet with a simple pencil. If difficult, first mark the length and width of the shape with two horizontal and two vertical lines. Then put them together.

Draw another circle of the same size just below and to the right. You will have a blank for the torso. Do not place the figures too far apart, otherwise the bird will turn out to be excessively long.

At the top of the first circle, draw another one, but flattened. It should be smaller in size. With this shape, you will indicate where the penguin's head will be.

Inside the head blank, sketch out two lines that intersect in the center. One should be horizontal and the other vertical. Later they will help you draw the bird's face.

To the left of the future head, mark the beak. To do this, draw a <sign. Try not to make it too small, otherwise the detail will be invisible.

Outline the neck. To do this, connect the circles for the head and upper body with two short and slightly raised lines. Start drawing the line on the left, stepping back a little space from the beak. The line to the right takes a base just above the horizontal line inside the head.

Draw two more curved lines, this time long. They have to connect the big circles. You will get the outline of the penguin's body. Add a triangular tail. It will be located on the left side of the lower torso.

Draw a long line in the middle of the body, curving to the left. From its bottom tip, draw a straight segment going up and to the right. Towards the end, "break" it so that you get a small angle. This will sketch the penguin's wing.

Draw a small arc to the lower part of the body, on the left side. These will be paws.

In the upper left quarter of the head, draw an almond-shaped eye. Draw a circle in the middle. In its center, put a point, pressing on the pencil harder than usual. This is the pupil. Darken the entire eye with light strokes. Draw above and below it in an arc.

Divide the beak in half with a curved horizontal line. Make the outline of the upper part of the part brighter. In the place where it meets the head, make a few short strokes. This will define the texture of the feathers that slide off the face.

Now draw in the lower part of the beak. Use bright lines to make it a little shorter than the top one. Show how the whole piece attaches to the head. To do this, draw the> symbol on a horizontal line inside the circle. Add some small slanting strokes to the beak.

Darken the outline of the head and neck on the right side.

Draw the wing. Make the lines on the sides more curved. The tip should be slightly rounded. Make the part of the part that is "attached" to the body a little thinner.

Now darken the outline of the body. To do this, circle the auxiliary lines that are outside with a pencil. When you get to the tail, add many small strokes to its outline. These are feathers knocking out. The same can be depicted above the foot.

Darken the outline of the paw. Draw several pointed claws on its tip with strokes. Draw two lines inside the part to show the webbing. Add an arc just above the fin. This will show the outline of the back leg.

Using the eraser, erase the auxiliary features that are inside the penguin.

Start painting over the bird. The back of the head, cheek, base of the beak and the neck underneath should be dark. The area around the eyes and the tip of the beak are light. The penguin you are drawing has a white, curved line along the head and under the cheek, so this should be left blank.

Shade the neck on the right side. Use wavy, curved lines to mark two stripes across the chest. They stretch from the chest to the lower part of the body, partially hidden under the wing. Leave the top strip blank. Paint over the bottom. Under the dark, a white belly will begin.

Apply vertical and not too bright strokes to the inside of the wing. Leave the edges of the part blank. Paint the back, tail and legs evenly. Add some dots along the dark stripe on the body.

If you want, you can draw a shadow under the penguin. To do this, under the paws, make several horizontal strokes.

To make the bird more voluminous, shadows can be added to the belly and empty stripes. To do this, make light vertical strokes along the inner edges of the white space. Lightly darken the area under the wing.
