We continue the theme of great cables for Apple mobile devices from third-party developers. Today, we're introducing Quickdraw, a rugged MagSafe-style cable with LED charging indicator and smart plug-in.
The cable is universal and can work with any mobile devices. There are modifications with both the Lightning connector for iPhone and iPad, and with micro-USB and USB Type-C for charging Android smartphones and even the new MacBook. You just need to choose the appropriate one when ordering.
An important feature of the cable is the charging indicator, with which you can immediately understand whether your gadget is charged or not. Its principle of operation is the same as that of MagSafe: it glows orange - charging is still in progress, green - it is already charged.
Another useful thing is the two-way USB output. So now it doesn't matter which side you insert the cable into the computer or adapter, it will always connect the first time.
To prevent the cable from being lost, its surface is covered with a special magnetic layer, and the set includes a special disk and a suction cup for fastening, for example, on a desktop. So there will be no problems with cable management.
The cable will be available in two lengths (1 and 2 meters) and three colors: Gold, Silver and Space Gray. The developers promise a lifetime warranty and ask for $ 15 for it. Deliveries will begin later this year.
