The crisis is forcing people to save money. Serious acquisitions are postponed until better times, but when those times will come is unknown. At first glance, now is not the right time to buy expensive photographic equipment. However, the situation in the secondary market is more interesting: due to financial difficulties, many sell their equipment at a bargain price. So why not take advantage of this?

In recent years, cameras have become overgrown with functions, but the quality of shooting has changed little. Therefore, you can safely take not the newest model, but spend the rest on a good lens. The laptop market is now in short supply. Demand has increased due to the massive shift to teleworking, and the recent shutdown in China has hit supply significantly. So maybe we should wait it out?

Those who want to upgrade a computer may not be running headlong for new processors and a video card, but buying RAM or a larger drive is useful in any case. It's worth hurrying, though: the rise in demand for laptops and server memory will soon drive prices up.

At the end of last year, analysts predicted a rise in the cost of memory associated with the balance of supply and demand. The coronavirus pandemic has made its own adjustments, so do not delay buying RAM or SSD. By the way, it is solid-state drives that will be the first to go up in price. The prices for RAM will be kept up by the surplus in warehouses, but in the end they will also rise.

Large home appliances

One of the factors behind the rise in prices during the crisis is the exchange rate: most of the equipment is imported, and its ruble price is pegged to the dollar. However, large household appliances are often assembled in Russia, which is why their prices are more stable. Of course, they grow too, but usually last.

If you have a dollar reserve, then buying household appliances with it will be more profitable than in pre-crisis times. Therefore, you can not postpone the purchase of a TV, refrigerator or washing machine, if you already planned to take them.

Everything is simple here: if you need such a technique, the crisis is not a reason to postpone the purchase. These devices will last for many years and will allow you not to spend money on services in printing houses. Which, by the way, are not getting cheaper either.
