The problem of security and anonymity in browsers has been radically solved lately. Internet Explorer in the latest version acquired a special InPrivate Browsing mode, followed by Google Chrome, which has the Incognito function. Firefox has so far limited the use of plugins to ensure anonymity and security. What to do with the Opera? So far, the only solution is OperaTor.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tor (The Onion Router)- free (BSD) implementation of the second generation onion router (so called "onion (multilayer) routing"). A system that allows users to connect anonymously, ensuring the transmission of user data in encrypted form. Considered as an anonymous network providing anonymous web surfing and secure data transmission. With Tor, users can remain anonymous when visiting websites, posting content, sending messages, and when working with other applications using the TCP protocol. Traffic security is ensured through the use of a distributed network of servers called "onion routers". Tor technology also protects against traffic analysis mechanisms that threaten not only the user's anonymity, but also the confidentiality of business data, business contacts, and more.
OperaTor consists of a portable version of Opera crossed with Tor and Polipo. Polipo is a small and fast caching proxy server.
Since Opera connects to the Internet through anonymous proxy servers, which takes some time, a locally caching proxy compensates for these connection delays, speeding up page loading. The program lives in the tray, has a very laconic look thanks to a well-chosen skin and customized toolbars.
The program did not require any additional settings for me - everything works without installation out of the box. The Opera version is currently in OperaTor 9.63, but it is constantly being updated. Throw OperaTor on a USB flash drive - and a fast, secure and completely anonymous browser will always be with you.
