1. Do not wash suede, leather, fur, feathers and other delicate materials by hand.
2. Some fabrics (for example, rayon) shrink when washed and require special care.
3. Do not machine wash if the garment is decorated with lace, beading, special folds or embroidery.
4. Garments made from a mixture of natural fibers, leather and suede require dry cleaning.
5. If a complex stain has formed on things, which ordinary household products do not take, only dry cleaning will help.
6. Sometimes you can use household cleaning products to wipe the stain off, but you can still damage the product. For example, if you spill red wine on a yellow dress, the bleach will remove the stain, but most likely the garment will no longer be yellow. Better to go to dry cleaning.
7. Some things, for example a business suit, may lose their shape during washing due to the peculiarities of their cut.

1. Examine the labels on the clothes carefully. You can dry-clean a thing only if it is allowed by the manufacturer.
2. Inspect the item for minor defects and remove them if possible. Poorly sewn buttons on coats, puffs and tears in fabric during cleaning can contribute to visible defects.

How not to be mistaken with dry cleaning

1. Read reviews about the dry cleaner you plan to check in. The company's experience in the market and its reputation are important indicators of the quality of the services provided. Rely on testimonials from real customers, not advertisements.
2. Announce the cost of the product to the dry cleaning staff, as well as the degree of wear and tear of the thing. Point out problem areas that require special attention. You can specify which chemicals will be used for cleaning.

What to do if the thing is spoiled
