PS4 games are due to hit the PlayStation Now streaming service in the coming months.
Users will no longer need to install games on the PlayStation 4. To stream them from the cloud to a console or PC, all they need to do is subscribe to a paid PlayStation Now subscription. But most importantly, thanks to the streaming service, games on desktops will be available even to those who do not have the console itself.
The PlayStation Now subscription costs up to $ 20 per month depending on the country. There is no official support for PlayStation Now in Russia yet.
By comparison, Microsoft's game console doesn't have streaming. But in February, the company announced Xbox Game Pass, a library of games also available by subscription. For $ 10 a month, Microsoft offers unlimited download and install of any games on the Xbox. But, as soon as the subscription ends, access to the games will be closed.
By the way, there is no confirmation that Xbox Game Pass will work in Russia either. The description of the service on the Russian-language Xbox website has already appeared, but before the launch of the service, scheduled for late spring, everything may change.
