Nostalgia for game projects released 20-30 years ago seems to have reached its peak. An updated version of the very first Playstation is coming soon, and Sega will release a scaled-down model of its Mega Drive in 2019. Fans of the company that created the series of games about the plumber Mario can already have miniature versions of the legendary consoles.

Swedish designer Love Hulten made his own version of the very first console from Nintendo in 1985. Pyua uses system hardware, controllers and original case design. This console is suitable for those who do not have a small copy, but want something more unusual from a specialist in the creation of retro-style gaming devices.

Pyua supports the work of two cartridges from the NES and Famicom at once and can display images in Full HD on modern TVs and monitors. Older games run smoothly with no lag or audio issues. Two wireless controllers are connected to the set-top box.

The most unusual element of the case in this case is a transparent dome, which can be used to cover inserted cartridges. The power button also activates the built-in backlight.

For those with a collection of retro games, the designer offers his wooden case for 20 cartridges and two joysticks.

Pyua is not a mass product, but a project that may be available for an individual order. The price of the device has not yet been announced.
