Car sharing and private taxi services are gradually expanding beyond the boundaries of megacities, providing their services in cities with a population of one million or less. And there is healthy competition with discounts, promotions and price retention. Therefore, the question arises: is it rational to have your own car, if cheap transport is always at hand?

Of course, the situation is controversial only due to the fact that from time immemorial, especially in the CIS countries, the car is considered a sign of prosperity. And the newer and bigger it is, the better. And if the car is driven from Germany, then life is generally a success. The ill-fated "and the neighbor has" as it were erases from the memory of the car wash, inspection, fines - regular payments that need to be added to fuel costs.

Install the app and fill in the basic information about your car: make, year of manufacture, odometer reading and availability of a second tank. Unfortunately, Drivvo does not have a built-in base for the model range of a particular automaker. It's a pity. It would be great if the utility could pull from the cloud, for example, the type of fuel and the volume of the tank. Alas, you have to drive in the data by hand.

The Drivvo home screen is a chronology of events related to your vehicle, whether it be a fine, maintenance costs, or parking fees. Enter data every day without missing a beat. To do this, the application provides five types of cards: refueling, associated costs, service, route and reminder. Filling out the cards will not be difficult. Just go through the proposed columns and choose options from the drop-down menu.

Over time, the tape will grow, but will not lose readability. The consistent presentation of information still greatly facilitates its analysis. However, do not digest the data yourself, let Drivvo do it. Go to the side control panel and select the "Reports" section. Here you will see a series of dry numbers and more interesting overview graphs.

The reports will tell you:

About the minimum, average and maximum fuel consumption per hundred.
About the total cost of operation for a certain period of time.
Average operating cost per day or per kilometer.
On the dynamics of cash expenditures over several months or years.
About the share of fuel, maintenance and additional payments in the total amount of expenses.
The most profitable type of fuel if you use petrol and gas alternately.

Drivvo has a section with achievements. It contains the badges that you received, for example, for 25 gas stations in different places or for the fact that you have been driving for more than a year. Of course, the awards are of no practical use. The whole point of the application is in numbers. They will tell you exactly how much the commute actually costs. Count and draw conclusions.
