Microsoft Edge for Android now blocks annoying ads

The desktop browser has long supported extensions, including AdBlock, and has now been added to the mobile version.

With the release of Android, Microsoft's proprietary browser receives regular updates with new features. One of them will definitely appeal to most users, because it will save them from annoying advertisements.

The latest beta version of Microsoft Edge for Android has received ad blocking. Microsoft developers have used AdBlock Plus blocking technologies, the popular software to remove web ads in browsers on all platforms. Using AdBlock Plus means that not all ads are removed from the pages - only too intrusive (pop-ups, bright and inappropriate animations). Regular banners will still be displayed. The blocker is activated in the corresponding settings menu.

Other innovations in the latest version of Microsoft Edge for Android include:
