If your child is trying to stick his fingers into the socket, and you constantly forget to buy a plug, a bottle of wine will help you.
The appearance of a small child in a family radically changes the view of familiar things. And if yesterday the electrical outlet was only a source of energy for me, today it has become a potential danger to the baby.
My son is eight months old. His harmless crawling grew into attempts to get up and shove his little fingers into all sorts of places, including into electrical outlets. Such curiosity can not lead to anything good. It is not a problem to buy plugs for sockets now, but it was necessary to temporarily drown out the sockets immediately.
The first thought that came to my mind was to seal the sockets with ordinary tape. Thinking about how it will look from an aesthetic point of view, how convenient it will be to use the outlet, I decided to open a bottle of red wine. The wine corks that I usually leave caught my attention for their size. They had to come up to the outlet in diameter and close dangerous areas.
No sooner said than done! The plug fits snugly into the outlet. An adult will get it with effort, but a small child cannot.
I found an old wine stopper, cut it off a bit and was able to block the second outlet. It may not look very nice, but it is safe for the child. My kid tested the plugs personally. He could not get them out of the sockets.
