OnePlus has officially revealed a new smartphone model. As reported, it looks almost identical to the OPPO R11s.
The screen is the main difference between the 5T and its predecessor. The new flagship received an elongated 6-inch Optic AMOLED display with a Full HD + resolution (2 160 × 1,080 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 18: 9, while the dimensions of the smartphone remained the same as those of 5.5-inch models.
The OnePlus 5T uses a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. The amount of RAM and internal memory depends on the modification - 6/64 GB and 8/128 GB. The flagship supports work with two SIM cards, but there is no memory card slot.
The dual rear camera uses a 20MP Sony IMX398 sensor and a 16MP Sony IMX376K. The focal length and aperture of the cameras are the same - 27, 22 mm and f / 1, 7, respectively. This design is intended to improve the quality of images taken in low light conditions. Portrait mode, in which the smartphone simulates the bokeh effect by blurring the background, migrated to the 5T from the previous OnePlus 5. The front camera is equipped with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX371 matrix.
For authentication, the OnePlus 5T offers a fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature.
Ports - USB 2.0 Type-C and standard audio jack. Battery capacity - 3 300 mAh, OS - Android 7.1.1 Nougat with OxygenOS interface.
The start of sales of OnePlus 5T in Europe and the US is scheduled for November 21 at a price of $ 500 for the version with 64 GB. The date of the start of sales in Russia is still unknown.
