The most important meal of the day can be challenging if there is absolutely no time to prepare it. To help you, we offer three simple preparations for morning oatmeal, pancakes and cocoa, which can be prepared in advance and turn into a hearty breakfast in a couple of minutes.
Oatmeal in yogurt
The most common breakfast dish is good old oatmeal. Of course, you can buy a bag of instant oatmeal if you are not confused by the ingredients from the composition, but it is much more useful to make oatmeal with yogurt, over which you do not need to pore, stirring constantly, like over boiled cereals.
In the evening, mix the yogurt with milk. Place the oatmeal in a deep bowl or jar along with any seasonal berries, fruits, nuts, seeds, or superfoods. Pour the yogurt mixture over the oatmeal, cover with plastic wrap and leave in the refrigerator overnight. If you opted for unsweetened yogurt, add your choice of sweetener.
The next morning, all that remains is to make coffee and remove the cling film from the plate. An additional portion of fresh berries on top will also not be superfluous.
In addition to yogurt, oatmeal can be poured with juice (especially freshly squeezed), coconut or almond milk.
Homemade cocoa
If you prefer cocoa to a cup of morning coffee (high five!), Then prepare a healthy homemade counterpart.
Combine cocoa powder with cinnamon, sugar and grated chocolate. If you do not want to run for milk every morning, then you can also add a quarter cup of milk powder to the cocoa mixture. Pour the cocoa into a jar and store by tightening the lid.
Pour 3 tablespoons of the mixture with a glass of milk, bring the drink to a boil, but do not boil and pour into cups. Marshmallow, cream and extra grated chocolate are up to you.
Pancake mix
Breakfast pancakes can be more than just a weekend dish if you are not too lazy to prepare the dry ingredients for the dough in advance. In a large jar, combine the flour, baking powder and sugar and store the mixture until you crave the pancakes.
In moments of pancake insufficiency, open the jar, pour a couple of glasses of water or milk into it, add an egg, tighten the lid tightly and shake the contents. Use a fork to check if you have managed to get rid of the lumps.
The result is an ideal dough for delicate pancakes, and all other dishes remain clean.

Oatmeal in yogurt
Ingredients:
- oat flakes - ⅔ st.;
- milk - 1 tbsp.;
- yogurt - ½ tbsp.;
- banana - 1 pc.;
- a handful of seasonal berries;
- honey to taste.
Preparation
- Pour the cereal into a jar or deep plate and add the slices of banana and berries.
- Mix milk with honey and yogurt. Pour the mixture over the oatmeal.
- Leave the cereal overnight, covering the dish with cling film.
Homemade cocoa
Ingredients:
- sugar - ½ tbsp.;
- dark chocolate - 90 g;
- cocoa powder - ½ tbsp.;
- ground cinnamon - ½ tsp;
- a pinch of salt.
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients together and store in a jar or airtight container.
- To prepare cocoa, pour 3 tablespoons of the mixture with milk and cook until boiling.
Pancake mix
Ingredients:
- flour - 2 tbsp.;
- baking powder - 4 tsp;
- sugar - ½ tbsp.
Preparation
- Mix all ingredients together. Store in a large jar.
- If necessary, add a couple of glasses of water or milk to the dry ingredients, add an egg, twist the neck of the jar and shake everything thoroughly.
- From this amount of ingredients, 12 large pancakes are obtained.
