How to use Wi-Fi in the Moscow metro without intrusive ads

On the Internet connection page, where we are offered to enter the Network or buy a subscription, there is usually an advertising banner in the background. By clicking on it, we go to the advertiser's website, which, accordingly, requires a connection to the Network. If the page starts loading, it means that the connection has occurred and you can close it. This way we avoid viewing ads using the same ads.

Install special applications

Mobile apps seem to exist for every imaginable purpose, and blocking ads on the Moscow metro is no exception. There are similar applications on both iOS and Android. The creators promise automatic connection to Wi-Fi, as if you paid for it. It should be noted that this method of disabling ads violates the rules for using the metro.

Disable JavaScript

On iOS devices, go to Settings → Safari → Add-ons and move the JavaScript slider. In mobile Google Chrome on Android, you need to go to the browser menu, then to "Settings" → "Content settings" and there deactivate JavaScript. Now there will be no advertising. However, in order for the sites to look normal, you will have to enable JavaScript later.

Installing special browsers

Some browsers block all ad content. It may not be very convenient to use them all the time, but in the metro they will provide a quick connection.
