Almost every home has syrups and other products in bottles with a narrow neck, which can be useful in the future on the farm. The trouble is that washing these dishes from the inside is unrealistically difficult even in the dishwasher. But there is a great way.
Secret remedy
The most common rice is an excellent cleaner for glassware with a narrow neck. Fill one third of the bottle with hot water, add a handful of rice and a couple of teaspoons of baking soda. Close the bottle tightly with the lid or hand and shake it vigorously for a minute or two. Then pour out the contents and rinse the dishes with hot water.
The rice will gently scrape off food residues from the walls. The baking soda will remove the odor and disinfect the inside of the bottle.
The method is economical, does not require much time and effort. He's also quite funny: you can imagine yourself as a bartender while shaking a bottle.
Possible difficulties
The first tricky part is filling the bottle with rice. When the neck is narrow, the rice wakes up, and only a small part gets where it needs to be. But the problem is solved with a simple funnel.
The second difficulty arises when you need to discard the content. Separately pouring the water into the sink and then throwing the rice into the bin will not work. It's easier to shake everything out at once into the sink, after plugging the drain with a special stopper, and then remove the rice with your hands.
If you constantly postpone washing glass bottles with a narrow neck, with horror imagining the difficulties awaiting in the process, then this method is your salvation. For the sake of this, you can even put up with rice scattered on the table. Unless, of course, you have not used the funnel.
