30 ways to draw different dinosaurs

How to draw a Tyrannosaurus

What do you need

• Paper;
• pencil or felt-tip pen.

How to draw a dinosaur

Bring a small forward slash down to the left. Lower it down and wrap it to the right. This will be the front of the animal's mouth.

Draw a smooth check mark on top. Draw an oval eye under it, and inside it a dark pupil. Draw a slash down from the left corner of the eye.

At the top of the mouth, add a small drop nostril. Draw a horizontal line above the lower border of the mouth, lift it up and draw a small corner at the end.

Draw the head by drawing a smooth line at an angle from the top of the checkmark. Continue the lower border of the mouth slightly and round the line up. Add some triangular teeth to the dinosaur.

Draw a smooth oblique line from the lower right edge of the head - this will be the back of the animal. Round it up and bring it up to the right, depicting part of the tail.

Draw a small line from the mouth downwards. At the bottom, add a perpendicular, rounded line. Draw up a stroke from its right edge. Draw two check marks from the left edge downwards - the fingers of the dinosaur. Draw a zigzag line on the right side of the leg.

Behind this paw, add another one by drawing only the toes. Draw a curved abdomen under the paws. Under the back, depict something like a tilted bowl - the thigh of an animal.

Draw another similar line next to the line of the abdomen. Draw a dash to the side from the hip, draw a smooth curved line down from it. Add another one on the right.

Use check marks to draw several fingers between these lines. Draw another paw on the left, as in the photo and in the video below.

Draw the tail, drawing a curved line to the right paw. In the master class, all the outer contours of the drawing were additionally outlined fatter, but this is not necessary.

Of course, the tyrannosaurus was not as cute as in the simple picture above. But this dinosaur looks more like a real one:

How to draw a Triceratops

What do you need

• Paper;
• pencil or felt-tip pen.

How to draw a dinosaur

Draw a smooth zigzag line from the bottom to the top. From the top end, draw a regular, slightly rounded line downward.

Under it, add a long, narrow horn with a rounded base.

From it down to the right, draw a curved forehead line and draw another small triangular horn. Bring the line down from it and rotate it to the left, drawing an acute-angled mouth. From about the middle of this line, draw the curved lower part of the head to the left.

Draw an arc under the large horn and an oval eye underneath. Paint over it, leaving a white dot. Draw another horn behind this horn. On the collar teeth, add a small corner.

From the neck, draw a short line down to the left, lower it down and draw several fingers in a zigzag. Draw the leg, lifting the line up. Add another one on the right.

Approximately from the middle of the collar, bring the back line to the left and round it down. From the front leg, draw another curved line upward. Draw a large leg to the left of it, as in the photo below.

Draw an oblique line under the belly to represent part of the other hind leg. Continue the line of the back, draw another from the leg and connect them so that you get a pointed tail.

Draw some oblique strokes on the tail. Draw small vertical lines along the edge of the back and on the legs and add a few on the side of the animal. Draw short lines on the collar, add an arch next to the horn and a small nostril.

How to draw a Velociraptor

What do you need

How to draw a dinosaur

On the left side of the sheet, draw a semi-oval without a bottom border. On the inside, on the right side, add a circle, and in it a bold point. This will be the eye.

From the drawn part of the head, draw a long wavy line to the right side, as in the photo.

Draw the lower border of the head. Add a flat, elongated shape below it. From the right edge of the head, draw down a smooth line and round to the right - this is the neck of the animal.

Under the center elevation, draw a vertical line convex to the left. At the end, round it the other way. To the right of the line, draw another one so that the outline resembles a dinosaur's paw.

Draw two small claws below, and above them - one large pointed one. They should look like crescents.

From the upper right side of the paw, draw a line to the side and connect it with the upper so that you get a sharp tail. Draw another line under it.

To the right of the neck, draw a short curved foot with tick claws, as in the photo and in the video below. Draw a line from it to the hind paw, and under it - another one, completing the abdomen.

Add another hind leg and complete the line of the belly under the neck.

How to draw a Stegosaurus

What do you need

How to draw a dinosaur

Draw a small tilted line on the left side of the sheet. Draw a wavy line from its lower end to the right. This will be the mouth of a dinosaur.

In the front lower part of the mouth, add a small line - the mouth. Put a bold dot on top - the eye. Draw a smooth, rounded line above it.

From this line, draw a small straight line up to the right. Draw an expanding neck at the bottom. Draw a small dot in front of the nostril. Also add small lines on both sides of the eye.

Under the neck, add a small patch of skin using a curved line. Draw a smooth vertical line to the right of the lower border of the neck, and draw another straight line from it down to the left. Draw the right side of the paw with a wide daw.

Draw the animal's abdomen with a horizontal line on the right. Up and down from the end of this line, draw another one at an angle. Draw the right side of the curved paw as shown in the photo.

Extend the top line of the neck and round it down approximately over the hind leg. From the middle of this paw, draw a rounded line down. Connect the two lines together to form a pointed tail.

Draw a small corner on the top of the neck, add another larger corner next to it. Draw a few more angular "petals" on the back of the dinosaur, increasing the size of each subsequent one.

Draw the legs with two rounded lines. Add another row of plates between those already drawn.

Draw another one behind the hind paw, as in the photo below. In front of the front paw, draw a part of the other, drawing lines parallel. Add a couple of small plates on the tail, draw similar shapes on the other side.

Draw the curves at the base of the feet and at the knees, separate the toes and add something like spikes on both sides at the end of the tail.

How to draw a brachiosaurus

What do you need

How to draw a dinosaur

The author of the master class first made a pencil sketch for convenience. But you can easily do without it.

Draw an arc, to the right of it, draw down a longer arched line.

Under the first arc, draw two rounded lines next to each other - this will be the thigh. Bring down one more from each line, slightly narrowing the leg downward. Draw a paw and outline a triangular claw.

On the right, draw another tilted hip. Draw the lower leg straight. Add a paw and claw.

Connect the legs with a curved line - this will be the abdomen. From the left leg, bring up small arcs to the right and left. Add a similar one to the left of the right leg.

From the back to the left, draw a long, curved line upward. Draw the neck from the opposite side, bringing the line to an arc next to the leg.

Draw an arc at the top and an oval eye with a black dot in the corner below it. Draw a line from the arc to the left, round it down and draw an open mouth with a daw. Smoothly bring the lower part of the mouth, and next to the neck - another arc.

Extend your back line down, then bring it up. Draw a line from the hip of the hind leg and connect it up with the previous one so that you get a pointed tail.

Draw the other two legs and draw a line along the lower border of the neck, abdomen and tail.
