How to draw cartoon gift boxes
What is needed
- Paper;
- black felt-tip pen;
- set of colored markers.
How to draw
Start with a bow: draw a small circle just below the center of the leaf, and a petal expanding to the left to the left of it. Inside the petal, add a line curved downward.
Draw a similar petal on the right with a curved line inside. Draw two ribbons down and to the sides of the central circle - they consist of parallel lines and end with V-shaped notches at the ends.
Having stepped back a couple of centimeters up from the picture, draw a horizontal line as long as the bow itself. Take short diverging segments down from it and connect them with one more horizontal line.
From the edges of this new line, draw two more line segments, this time vertically downward, and connect them to the edges of the bow. You should get something that looks like a box, although in fact it is only a lid for now.
Draw two diverging lines in the middle of the lid, and draw two short lines from them down - straight to the bow. Start drawing the box: draw a line vertically downward from the left petal of the bow.
Draw the right side of the box - it can also be vertical. Or you can depict it a little obliquely - this will give the drawing a cartoonishness. Draw two parallel lines down from the middle of the bow - this is the ribbon that ties the box. At the bottom, connect the walls and the tape with horizontal lines, as shown in the figure.
Draw a round bird's head above the box, but don't close the line - leave a blank space at the bottom left. Draw an eye inside, which consists of two circles located one in the other. Paint over the large shape and leave the small one white. With two corners - the upper one is larger, the lower one is smaller - depict a beak on the right side of the head.
Where you left a gap in the outlines of the head, draw a torso in the form of a drop. Add a slightly upward curved ponytail at the back. From the border of the head and body of the bird, draw two sticks-legs down.
Add two protruding leaf-shaped feathers to the tail. Put a triangular cap on the bird's head, decorate it with three strokes at the end and horizontal stripes across the entire surface.
Draw a circle near the bird's beak and from it draw a smooth line upward with a stroke at the end - so that it looks like a note. The top stroke of the note can be decorated with an additional curved line on top.
To the right of the finished box, you need to depict another one. Draw in the same way, starting from the middle and left petal, only now the line inside the bow is curved not down, but up.
Add a right petal with an upward curved line. Draw the edges of the lid on both sides of the bow.
Connect the edges with a horizontal line. Draw the ribbon around the box. Its outlines go in the middle of the lid in divergent segments, and go vertically down from the upper border. On the right, add a horizontal line for the bottom border of the lid: it starts from the left edge and rests against the ribbon.
Add a horizontal line to the right in the same way. Draw the vertical sides and bottom of the box as shown in the picture.
Use a red felt-tip pen to paint the ribbon on the left box and the stripes on the bird's cap. Color the bow on the right box in hot pink.
Make the bird's beak and the note coming out of it yellow. Color the left box with a green felt-tip pen.
Make the right box blue. If something is not clear, then you have a video at your disposal:

How to draw a realistic gift box
What is needed
- Pencil;
- paper;
- ruler;
- eraser.
How to draw
In this method of drawing, accurate geometric constructions are important, so you need to arm yourself with a pencil that can be easily erased, a ruler and patience. Carefully read the instructions, see how the lines are shown in the picture, and if something is not clear, then the video below will help you.
Use a ruler to draw a thin horizontal line in the upper third of the sheet from edge to edge. This is an auxiliary line that denotes the horizon, then it will need to be erased. Draw a line down perpendicular to it - this is the conditional center of the composition. Measure on the center line 4 and 8.5 cm from the intersection with the horizontal line.
Connect the “8.5 cm” mark along the ruler with the left and right edges of the horizon.
Line up the 4 cm mark with the left and right edges of the horizon.
Draw on the right between the two resulting oblique lines a vertical segment 3.5 cm long. From its top point, draw a guide to the left edge of the horizon. Mark the point at which the new line crosses the center line of the drawing.
Connect this point and the right edge of the horizon with a ruler to understand the desired angle of inclination, and draw at this angle a segment between the upper and middle guides, going to the left of the center line. From the point of intersection of this line with the middle guide, lower the perpendicular to the lower guide. At this stage, you should already have the outline of the box.
Measure on the center line 1 cm down from the near corner of the box. Connect this point to the right and left edges of the horizon.
Measure on the top right guideline 1, 5, 2, 3 and 3.5 cm from the intersection with the center line. Drop the perpendiculars from these points to the bottom rail. Draw lines from the same points to the left edge of the horizon. You have drawn the ribbon that the box is tied with.
Now the same tape needs to be depicted on the other side. Measure on the middle left guideline 1, 5, 2, 3 and 3.5 cm from the intersection with the center line. Drop the perpendiculars from these points to the bottom rail. Draw lines from them to the right edge of the horizon.
Erase the extra guides around the box and start drawing the bow. One end of it goes up in an arc to the right of the center of the box. In width, this arc is approximately 0.6 cm. Draw a petal downward under the arc and draw a line curved to the right in it.
Next, draw another line curved to the right - so that the petal turns into a bow fold. In the center of the box, draw a petal curved upward. The second edge of the bow comes out from the same point. He, like the first, is an arc about 0.6 cm wide.
Draw an additional curved line above the top petal, and within it add a stroke to form the folds of the bow.
Erase the left and right borders of the box and draw new ones, 2 mm back from the previous ones. Leave the lid as it is. This is necessary so that its edges protrude beautifully above the box.
Add shadows to the ribbons on the box: circle with thicker lines the left side of the ribbon on the right side and the right side of the ribbon on the left side.
Construct the shadow of the box falling on the table. To do this, first draw a guide through two points - the near top corner of the box and the center of the bottom left edge of the box. Extend the lower-right pattern guide until it intersects this line. Draw a guide parallel to it through the upper left corner of the box.
Use a ruler to connect the bottom left corner of the box to the right edge of the horizon and draw a line until it intersects with this new guide. Connect the edges of the shadow. In parallel, stepping back about 5 mm towards the center, outline the shadow from the lid. Lightly shade the shadow, moving the pencil in the same direction.
Erase all guides. Draw in bold shading under the left side of the lid. Shade the left side of the box with vertical strokes and the shadow with slanted strokes. Blend.
Paint in shadows in the depths of the folds of the bow. Draw a vertical line along the ruler behind the box and two diagonal lines, denoting the table - they should go obliquely to the conditional edges of the horizon.
Shade the left wall with oblique strokes of the pencil. Use a ruler to trace all the outlines of the drawing, adding shadows under the bottom edges of the box, lid and ribbons.

How to draw a Christmas sock with gifts
What is needed
- Black gel pen or liner;
- paper;
- colored markers.
How to draw
Draw a rounded rectangle.
Draw two parallel lines down from it, about two times the width of a quadrilateral. Draw a toe pointing to the left, as shown in the picture.
Draw a long, rounded hook sticking out over the top of the sock for a lollipop. To the left and right of it, draw quadrangular gifts with lines of ribbons intercepting them in a criss-cross pattern.
Draw another lollipop hook to the right, and to the left and right of it - the conditional rounded outlines of toys.
Draw in semicircles the heel and toe of the toe, and parallel with the dotted line mark the stitching with threads. Start decorating your sock with sketchy flowers.
Draw flowers all over the sock. Use brackets to mark the folds on the trim.
Paint the sock with a red felt-tip pen, leaving the edging, flowers, toe and heel white.
Draw red stripes on the candy canes and red ribbons on the gifts. Color the gifts themselves green, as well as the flowers on the sock.
Paint the rounded gift in the background in gold or a shade of green that is different from the one already used. Use a wide blue felt-tip pen to trace the contours of the toe, heel and trim.

How to draw a cartoon bag of gifts
What is needed
- Black felt-tip pen or pencil;
- pastel paper;
- set of colored pastels.
How to draw
Draw a long, smile-like line on the paper.
Draw a frill underneath it with wavy lines. Draw a bag under the frill in a semicircle.
Draw two rectangles sticking out of the bag in a crisscross pattern.
On the left, draw a semicircle that is visible from behind one of the rectangles. Next to it, schematically, with a wavy line, depict plants. Add several small circles of different sizes to the right.
Draw twigs to these circles. Draw another rounded shape behind the right rectangle and add some greenery. There is no need to follow the details, pastels will add expressiveness to the outlines.
Decorate the bag with geometric shapes: a circle, a square, and a triangle.
Draw a Christmas ball with a rectangular ledge and a snowflake pattern to the right of the bag. Color the bag casually with yellow-brown pastels.
Draw ribbons on the gifts with red chalk, and make the boxes themselves blue and green. Add some color to the inner walls of the bag around them.
Color the berries in red, the plants in green, color the round shapes in the bag in orange and purple. Paint the Christmas ball on the right with blue chalk.
With a lighter shade of green, add volume to the greens in the bag. Paint the lapel of the bag and geometric patterns yellow.
Walk along the bottom of the bag and underneath with brown crayon to indicate the shadow. You can also add brown to a rounded toy in a bag. Draw an orange border on the lapel and mark the threads with a dotted line. Draw blue snowflakes around.
Draw a pink halo and pink snowflakes around the entire composition. This video will help you with your work:
