How to draw one simple tulip
What do you need
- Paper;
- a simple pencil, felt-tip pen or pen;
- colored pencils, markers, or paints.
How to draw a tulip
Draw a deep arc with the tips pointing up.
Round the ends of the line slightly to the sides.
Round the line from the left edge. Bring it to about the middle of the arc, rounded to the left.
Draw the right petal in the same way, stopping the line at the border of the left.
Draw a small arc between the petals - the outline of the central petal.
Add a small tip of another petal between the center and right shapes. Draw a smooth winding line down from the top of the central petal, and next to it, draw another one, almost the same.
Draw two parallel lines down from the flower - the stem of the tulip. Connect them at the bottom.
Draw a smooth line up from the lower right edge of the stem. Draw another rounded one above it and finish it at the beginning of the first one.
From the edge of the first line, draw down another curved line and draw it to the bottom of the stem - you get a leaf.
Draw the leaf on the left in the same way.
Color the tulip with pencils, felt-tip pens, or paints. The video tutorial shows how to mark shadows on a flower using colored pencils:

Here's an even easier way. Even a kid can handle this:
This drawing is more complicated:
And for this cute tulip in a pot, the petals are drawn differently:
How to draw one realistic tulip
What do you need
- Paper;
- simple pencil;
- colored markers;
- colorless marker.
How to draw a tulip
Draw the outline of the bud as a deep arc at a slight angle. From above, connect its ends with two arcuate lines so that you get an oval pointed at the edges.
Draw a rounded line down from the middle of the bottom edge of the oval. Add another one at the edge of the bud. Connect the edges of the resulting petal from above.
To the left of the petal, draw a short smooth line crossing the oval. Draw a small line from it inside the oval. Mark the edges of the other petal in the middle. Draw a small corner at the top right.
At the bottom, draw a thin, curved stem. To the left of it, add a long, curving line: start almost at the edge of the bud and end at the bottom of the stem. Finish the tip of the leaf, slightly going over the stem. In the lower left part of it, add volume by painting on a line rounded at the bottom.
To the right of the stem, draw a narrow, smaller leaf with a sharp tip.
Color the bud with a light orange color. Use a bright orange felt-tip pen to paint over the right outermost petal and the inner tip of the left. Use the same color to paint the bottom of the front and left petals, as shown in the photo. Add color to the left side of the back petal and the top right side of the left.
With a red felt-tip pen, trace the left edge of the front petal until it intersects with the left. Use the same color to paint the lower part of the left petal and add some red strokes just above. Trace the upper right outline of the same petal.
Color the right petal red. Lightly paint over the back petal. Draw a dashed vertical line in the middle of the front petal, add a few strokes to the sides of it. Color in the bottom of this petal.
Use a colorless marker to blur the colors a little, as shown in the video below. Especially carefully go over the back and right petals, as well as the bottom of the entire bud. Try to achieve smooth color transitions.
Add orange to the top of the front and left petals. Lightly circle their joints again with a red felt-tip pen. If necessary, blur the colors again with a colorless marker.
Paint the stem and the front of the left leaf with light green. Color the base of the bud, the top right edge of the stem, and the bottom of the left leaf in dark green. Slightly blur the colors.
Color the entire left leaf with light green. At the bottom, next to the stem, add a dark green color and draw some lines on top. Blur the colors with a marker. Add another shade of green above and below - between light and dark green.
Color the right leaf in a similar way. All the details in this video:

A simpler option without pencil sketching:
This tulip is painted with gouache. To repeat this is quite simple - for example, the bud is partially drawn with your fingers. But the flower still looks like it is alive:

How to draw a bouquet of tulips
Draw a smooth corner, and from it draw down a line rounded to the left.
Draw the outline of the bud by drawing a line upward.
Bring the line down to the middle of the calyx so that the petals appear.
Connect them at the top with a small smooth line. Behind it, add a small tip of another petal.
To the right of the bud, draw up a line at an angle. Bring it down and add a large petal.
From it to the left and up, draw a line, round it down, and draw to the first bud.
Add small edges of the other two between the large petals.
Draw a large corner to the left of the central flower.
From about the middle of the left edge of the central bud, draw a line up to the left. Round it up and add a large petal.
Add the edges of the back petals between the side ones at the third bud.
Draw a stem to each bud.
From the bottom of the stems, draw a long, winding line to the right side. Draw the curved sheet, and add a line in the lower part in the middle.
Draw the leaf on the left in the same way.
Color the bouquet.

How to draw a realistic bouquet of tulips
What do you need
- Paper;
- gouache;
- brushes;
- water.
How to draw a bouquet of tulips
In the upper part of the sheet, apply with a wide brush a few strokes of white gouache, in the middle - yellow, and below - mustard. Dip the brush in water and spread the paint to achieve a smooth transition of colors.
With a thin brush, draw a small, narrow, curved leaf at the bottom of the sheet. Draw a long straight leaf above it and add another short one in between.
Draw another one above the top sheet - a little wider. To the left of it, add a few more, drawing to the very edge of the paper.
Lightly go over the leaves with a lighter gouache. Outline the left edge of each of them with a darker paint.
Draw one petal with red gouache on top.
Add a small stroke to the right of it - the second petal.
Draw the third petal on the right with a stroke.
Round the bottom of the bud and tidy it up if necessary.
Draw six more buds in the same way. If you are at a loss, watch the video tutorial below.
With yellow gouache, go over the right edges of the buds, adding a few strokes in these places. Draw the same color along the right edges of the leaves.
Add light yellow strokes on the buds, giving them volume and highlighting the petals.
On the left edges of the buds, bottom and middle petals, go burgundy gouache.
Draw thin stems. Highlight the left edges of the leaves with a darker color to make them look more voluminous. Add some yellow on the right edges.
