1. Apex Legends

Free Battle Royale from the developers of Titanfall appeared quite suddenly and forced the leader in this field - Fortnite to make room. The action in Apex Legends takes place on a much smaller map, fights here are usually lightning fast and most often end in complete defeat of one of the sides. 4. Duelyst

An unusual cross between a collectible card game and chess. You don't have to be a brilliant strategist - anyone can enjoy Duelyst. Later, if it becomes interesting, you can try to understand the game styles and other features of the project.

You have at your disposal a deck of cards that belongs to one of the six factions. You also have a general with a unique skill, based on which you build your strategy. Different cards allow you to use additional abilities.

After collecting the deck, you can engage in battle with the enemy. During the battle, you need to put new creatures on the playing field or strengthen existing ones. And so on until the general of one of the players dies.

5. StarCraft II

One of the greatest real-time strategy games of 2017 has a free version - the swanky single player campaign, Wings of Liberty. Here you can fight in multiplayer matches, unrated and against AI, as well as gain access to ranked games, having won at least 10 victories in a day.

Unlike lightning fast multiplayer action games like Battlefield and Call of Duty, Planetside 2 takes significantly longer to hone your combat skills. 8. Forza Motorsport 6: Apex

The first part of Forza arriving on PC - more precisely, on Windows 10. The racing series is known for its superbly designed cars and incredibly beautiful locations, and Apex is no exception.
