How to paint lips with paints

What is needed

• Paper;
• gouache;
• medium brush;
• thick brush;
• a jar of water.

How to draw

Use a medium brush to take a yellow paint. Draw an arc for Cupid's arch. Release curved lines from the ends to the sides. This will show the upper lip contour. Draw the bottom with an uneven line.

The lower lip should be larger than the upper lip. To draw a detail, first sketch out two large circles next to each other. Circle them at the top and bottom. From the outlines of the shapes, extend lines to the corners.

Using a thick brush, paint over the background with yellow paint. Add massive white strokes to the sheet.

Paint your lips with red gouache. Make rounded yellow and white strokes. This will give the drawing volume.

Add pink strokes on the background, brown or burgundy on the lips. Make the space between the top and bottom black.

When the paint dries a little, add white and hot pink strokes to the drawing. Place them randomly, this will make the image more interesting.

How to draw

Use a black marker or felt-tip pen to draw a horizontal, curved line with two bumps in the middle. You will have the Cupid Arch.

To outline the outline of the second lip, add an arc to the first from below. Divide the resulting shape with a horizontal line.

Paint over the image with a red or pink felt-tip pen. You can use other colors as well, it all depends on your imagination. Try to make long strokes underneath each other.

How to draw

Draw a line with two bumps in the middle. Make a V-shaped arc over the workpiece. You will have the upper lip.

Show the lower lip with a curved line. Unfold the pencil so that the lead touches the paper flat. Paint over the drawing without pressing hard on the tool. Rub with feathering to make the color even.

Add subtle, curved strokes to the lower lip. At the edges, they should be more frequent and darker, closer to the middle - paler. Brighten the central part slightly with an eraser.

Draw the texture of the upper lip. The principle is the same as in the previous step. Make the center line brighter, the space under Cupid's arch lighter.

How to draw lips with colored pencils

What is needed

• Paper;
• simple pencil;
• eraser;
• colour pencils;
• white gel pen.

How to draw

Draw a dimple arc. This is the outline of the upper lip with Cupid's arch. Mark the bottom of the part with a curved line.

The lower lip consists of a wide arch and a small segment. Please note: there is a small gap between this element and the top one. Show the teeth inside it with strokes.

Use the eraser to make the sketch lighter. Trace the outline with a burgundy pencil. Draw lots of vertical stripes to outline the texture of the lips. Add light black shading to the center of the image.

Place the red pencil so that the shaft touches the paper flat. Shade the image several times to brighten the color. Make your teeth whiter.

Add another layer of red to the drawing. Outline the inner contours of the lips in black. Show a gray shadow on your teeth.

Use a white gel pen to make a lot of strokes on the image. It is better to place them closer to the center of the composition.
