Like all gadgets from Xiaomi, Mi Portable Mouse is distinguished by functionality, beautiful minimalistic design and affordable price.
Xiaomi is gradually capturing more and more new segments of the electronics market. A few days earlier, the company introduced a robot and a home air purifier, and today it presented a stylish wireless mouse.
The appearance of the first mouse from Xiaomi immediately evokes associations with Apple's Magic Mouse. But in reality they are quite different. Mi Portable is equipped with a scroll wheel and two buttons. On the bottom, directly under the control keys, there is a sensor and a power switch.
The body of the mouse is almost entirely made of anodized aluminum, which means that the controller is not sensitive to scratches and will look like new for a long time.
Another cool feature of Mi Portable is the ability to simultaneously work with two devices, one of which may be, for example, a smartphone or TV. The connection is made either via Bluetooth 4.0 LE or Wi-Fi. The radius of action is 10 meters. Two AAA batteries are responsible for the autonomy of the mouse.
Xiaomi claims that the optical sensor (1200 dpi) works with 95% accuracy on a regular table, frosted glass, paper and even fabric.
As you can see, the Mi Portable Mouse is nothing super special. But knowing how Xiaomi knows how to make technology, we can safely assume that the mouse will sit very well in the hand, work flawlessly for a long time and delight the eyes of its owner with a pleasant design. Among other things, the controller, like all the rest of the equipment from Xiaomi, costs a little.
The Mi Portable Mouse will go on sale on November 11th.
