For fans of measured breakfasts, there is nothing better than homemade granola in its classic guise: pour the oatmeal mixture with milk, juice or yogurt and enjoy a healthy treat. The rest, in a hurry getting ready for work in the morning, will hardly appreciate this option, and it was for them that we decided to reproduce the recipe for a compact granola bar, which is easy to snack on while running.

Granola is capable of accepting almost any supplement you choose to add to it. Nuts and pastes made from them, dried fruits, berries, seeds and fragrances - all this goes well within the framework of a compact bar. In our recipe, in addition to the oatmeal themselves, the main characters are chocolate, coconut and ordinary peeled sunflower seeds. For aroma - a packet of vanillin.

We mix additives with oatmeal and flour. Separately combine vegetable oil (any, if only without a pronounced taste and smell) with honey.

Mix the dry ingredients with the liquids, cover the dish or baking sheet with oiled parchment and spread the mixture as evenly as possible in a 2–2.5 cm thick layer.

We place the granola in an oven preheated to 160 degrees for 45 minutes.

Hot granola is incredibly fragile, so carefully transfer it to a board, separate it from the parchment and let it cool, then cut it into bars of any shape and size. Store them in a refrigerator or airtight container.
