A simple free utility that will clean Windows from junk better than the competition.
Dism ++ is a free utility for Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10, which serves to clean the operating system from garbage, manage startup, create backups, restore the bootloader and fine-tune system parameters.
Attention! Reckless use of this utility can cause Windows to malfunction or even lead to its complete inoperability. Remember to back up your important documents and personal data. You perform all actions solely under your own responsibility.
Despite its small size, Dism ++ can do a lot. The main window of the program is divided into several tabs, switching between which takes place in the left pane. Since a full description of all the features of the program will take too long, let's focus on one of the most demanded functions - cleaning the operating system.
Find the Cleanup tab in the left pane, which is under the Tools section. Check the boxes for all the trash to be removed. Please note that each parameter is provided with a detailed description in Russian located on the right panel. All potentially dangerous parameters are accompanied by a warning pop-up window.
Click on the "Analysis" button in the lower right corner. The program will quickly scan the hard drive and find all the items to be removed. At this point, you can review the details of each item and make your final decision. If everything is in order, then click on the "Cleanup" button to get rid of the garbage accumulated in the system.
In addition to deep cleaning Windows, Dism ++ can be useful for removing unnecessary programs from startup, managing drivers, setting hidden system parameters and performing other tasks. It’s hard to believe that such a multifunctional program weighs only a few megabytes and does not require installation.
