They can be easily done by both adults and children.
Christmas cards with a voluminous tree on the cover
What do you need
- Green double-sided paper;
- ruler;
- pencil;
- scissors;
- red cardboard;
- glue;
- yellow paper.
How to do
Cut one square from green paper with sides 12 cm, 10 cm, 8 cm, 6 cm and 4 cm.
Fold one of them in half.
Bend the shape slightly across it in half so that there is a barely noticeable mark in the middle. Fold the upper left corner of the rectangle towards the center.
Now fold the upper right corner in the same way. You will have a triangle.
Make the same triangles from the rest of the paper squares. Cut a 26 x 15 cm rectangle out of red cardboard. Fold it in half across. Draw many small stars and one larger on yellow paper, cut them out.
Apply glue to the back of the small green triangle. Glue it to the top of your future postcard. Attach a large star higher up.
Grease the same side of the slightly larger triangle with glue. Attach it so that the top overlaps the previous glued triangle slightly from the inside.
Glue all the other triangles in the same way, forming a Christmas tree.
Add paper stars to the cover.
What other options are there
A similar Christmas tree can be glued from paper circles:
A Christmas tree is easy to make from a wooden stick and a paper accordion:
And one more very simple option from the accordion:
Christmas cards with a voluminous tree inside
What do you need
- Blue double-sided cardboard;
- White paper;
- scissors;
- glue;
- green double-sided paper;
- yellow paper;
- pink paper.
How to do
Fold the blue cardboard in half across. Cut the white paper approximately in half along a wavy line. The figure should resemble snowdrifts. Lubricate it with glue and attach to the bottom of the blue sheet. Fold the future postcard along the fold again.
Cut a large circle out of green paper. You can circle the plate or use a compass. Fold it in half and cut along the fold. You only need one half.
Fold this piece in half and unfold. A fold will split it in two. Fold one edge towards the middle of one of them.
Flip and fold this "triangle" towards the fold.
Continue to fold the paper in the same way, turning it over each time. Cut out some small triangles at the fold.
Open the paper so that there is a raised part with holes in the middle. Glue the tree to the middle of the card.
Cut a star out of yellow paper. From yellow and pink - small round decorations for the Christmas tree. From white - round snowflakes. Glue the details onto the postcard.
What other options are there
To make such a postcard, you need to cut out many identical paper trees and glue them together:
But what a lush Christmas tree is obtained from paper accordions:
DIY Christmas cards with a snowman
What do you need
- Light pink cardboard;
- blue cardboard;
- ruler;
- pencil;
- scissors;
- glue;
- compass;
- white cardboard;
- blue felt-tip pen;
- voluminous double-sided tape;
- brown cardboard;
- any colored or patterned cardboard;
- orange cardboard;
- black and red rhinestones (you can take felt-tip pens);
- figured hole punch "Snowflake".
How to do
Cut a 13 cm square from light pink cardboard and 12 cm from blue cardboard. If you want the card to open, make a 26 x 13 cm rectangle out of pink cardboard and fold it in half. Glue the blue piece onto the pink piece so that you get the same frames on the sides.
On white cardboard, draw circles with a radius of 4 cm, 3 cm and 2.5 cm. Cut them out.
Paint the edges of the circles with a blue felt-tip pen.
Glue two pieces of tape on the back of the large circle. Glue the circle to the center of the blue square. Draw twig handles on brown cardboard and attach them on the back to the middle circle. Glue it in the center of the first one.
On the back of the small circle, glue two strips of colored or patterned cardboard. This will be a snowman's scarf. Attach the circle on the middle closer to the top edge. Make buttons and eyes from black rhinestones, and the mouth from smaller red rhinestones. If there are no rhinestones, you can just draw everything with a felt-tip pen. Cut an elongated triangle out of orange cardboard and glue the nose between the eyes.
Cut snowflakes out of white cardboard and glue them around the snowman.

DIY Christmas cards with Santa Claus
What do you need
- White paper or cardboard;
- pencil;
- scissors;
- ruler;
- black paper or cardboard;
- orange paper or cardboard;
- peach paper or cardboard;
- red paper or cardboard;
- green paper or cardboard;
- stationery knife;
- hole puncher;
- light blue cardboard;
- glue;
- voluminous double-sided tape;
- red rhinestones;
- pink paper or cardboard.
How to do
Fold the white paper across in half, cut half. Draw a beard on one part, as shown in the photo and in the video below, and cut it out.
On the other half of the white sheet, draw a mustache and cut it out.
From black paper, cut a 15 x 2.5 cm strip, from orange paper - a square with 4 cm sides. On the square, draw two parallel lines at a distance from each other. Walk through them with a knife. Punch three holes on the strip approximately in the middle with a hole punch. Insert the strip into the square to form a belt.
Cut a 9 x 4 cm rectangle out of peach paper. Draw a leaf-like shape on it and cut it out.
Cut two rectangles out of red paper, 10 x 4 cm and 15 x 11 cm. On one narrow side of the large piece, round off the corners slightly. On a small detail, draw the top of the cap, as shown in the photo and video below.
Cut two 3 x 1.5 cm rectangles out of green paper. Fold them in half lengthwise. Draw half a long, embossed leaf on the fold. Cut and unfold. Fold a small square of white paper diagonally, then fold it twice more. Draw a semicircle in the corner and cut it out - you get a flower.
Fold a sheet of blue cardboard in half across. Glue the large red piece to the bottom of the cover with the fillets facing up. Cover the top of the large white piece with glue, and attach a few pieces of tape to the bottom. Glue the piece just above the middle. Where the tape is, there will be a beard.
Glue the red cap on top. On the side between the hat and the beard, attach a white flower with tape, green leaves on it, and rhinestones in the middle. Glue the peach piece under the hat.
Add black round paper eyes and a round pink nose. Attach the mustache lower on the tape.
Glue a paper belt to the bottom of the postcard.
