A beautiful boot from a plastic bottle, a voluminous tree made of cardboard, openwork snowflakes from pasta and other cool ideas.

1. A boot from a plastic bottle

What do you need

• Felt-tip pen;
• plastic bottle with a volume of 1.5 liters;
• stationery knife and / or scissors;
• cardboard;
• glue gun;
• decoupage glue (or PVA and water, mixed in equal proportions);
• brush;
• napkins or paper towels;
• red paint;
• red glitter;
• wide gold ribbon;
• decorative bells;
• red corrugated paper;
• synthetic winterizer or artificial fur;

How to do

With a felt-tip pen, circle the bottle in three places: above the bottom, just below the middle and between the neck and the central part. Cut the bottle along the lines. You will need the second and fourth fragments, counting from the neck.

Place the blanks on cardboard close to each other and circle. Draw the lines between the circles and cut out the sole of the future boot. Glue the plastic pieces to it with a glue gun.

Using decoupage glue, attach several layers of napkins or paper towels to the plastic. Do the same from the inside as you can.

Cover the blank with red paint. Then apply glue to the boot and sprinkle with glitter.

Make a bow out of the gold ribbon and glue it in front. Place the bells and corrugated paper folded with a rose on it. Instead, you can use some other decoration.

Cover the inside and outside of the boot with glue and attach a padding polyester or fur. Glue a thin strip of the same material along the sole of the boot.

2. Glass bottle snowman vase

What do you need

• Scissors;
• large white sock;
• small glass bottle;
• synthetic winterizer;
• needle;
• thread;
• narrow silver tape;
• 2 blue buttons;
• 2 red buttons;
• red felt;
• glue gun - optional;
• blush or pastel;
• branches;
• white spray paint or foil and double-sided tape;
• Christmas balls.

How to do

Cut the sock in half and slide the toe piece over the bottle. Fill it with padding polyester, and fill the middle less tightly, so that later on to separate the head and body of the snowman. Sew the blank at the neck of the bottle.

Tie a ribbon bow in the middle. Sew blue buttons on top (these will be eyes), and red buttons below. Cut out the carrot nose and mittens from the felt. Sew or glue them onto the snowman.

Sew the edges of a wide strip of felt to fit the snowman's head. Sew the blank to the head and tie it with a ribbon on top. Use blush or pastels to paint the snowman's cheeks.

Wrap the branches with foil, gluing it with tape. Or just paint them with spray paint, put them in a vase and hang them with Christmas decorations.

3. Christmas tree made of tinsel in a glass jar

What do you need

• Green tinsel;
• cardboard;
• scissors;
• glue gun;
• brush;
• glue;
• artificial snow;
• glass jar with a screw cap;
• hole puncher;
• silvery thread;
• felt-tip pen;
• twine.

How to do

Fold the tinsel four times and twist as shown in the video. Cut a small circle out of cardboard and glue the Christmas tree to it. Trim the edges of the tinsel so that the shape tapers upwards.

Lightly brush the tinsel with glue and sprinkle with fake snow. Using a glue gun, attach the tree to the inside of the lid. Place the jar on top and twist.

Cut a circle out of cardboard, make a hole on top with a hole punch and glue a silver thread along the edge of the blank. Write a New Year's wish on the circle. Thread the silver thread and twine into the hole and tie to the jar.

4. Candlestick from a can and cloth

What do you need

• Can-opener;
• small low tin can;
• plate;
• ruler or measuring tape;
• a pen;
• 2 pieces of multi-colored fabric;
• scissors;
• needle;
• thread;
• gold spray paint;
• glue gun;
• candle.

How to do

Use a can opener to cut the top off the can. Using a plate twice the diameter of the tin as a template, trace and cut 9 pieces from the first piece of fabric.

Fold each detail in four. Sew a petal from it, as shown in the video, and the petals - together, forming a circle around the diameter of the can.

From a different color of fabric, cut 9 circles slightly larger than the jar. Make the same petals out of them and sew in a circle around the diameter of the can.

Paint the jar gold. When it dries, slide the fabric blanks over it. To prevent the petals from sliding off, lift them slightly and fix with glue. Place the candle in the finished candlestick.

5. Glass candlestick

What do you need

• Wineglass;
• small roller;
• White paint;
• wide tape;
• red paint;
• brush;
• decoupage glue (or PVA and water, mixed in equal proportions);
• narrow black tape;
• small decorative buckle with rhinestones;
• glue gun;
• bead stickers;
• decorative ornament or bow;
• candle.

How to do

Paint the entire glass white. To speed up drying, turn on the hair dryer. Cover the top of the glass with duct tape and apply red paint. When it's dry, remove the tape and cover the glass with decoupage glue.

Put a decorative buckle on the tape and glue it with a gun between the red and white parts of the glass. Fasten two beads above and below the buckle. Glue a decorative ornament, bow or some other New Year's element to the base of the bowl.

6. Decorative glue gift

• glue gun;

• wide red ribbon;
• electric garland.

How to do

Draw a square on the paper. Inside it, draw perpendicular diagonal lines at the same distance from each other.

Place the glass on the paper and tape it to the table for security. With a glue gun, go through all the drawn lines that are visible through the glass. When the glue is dry, remove the blank from the glass. Make 4 more blanks in the same way.

Glue them together in a cube. Lubricate the sides with glue and dip in a plate of glitter. Glue the tape to the cube, as shown in the video, and a bow from it on top.

7. Christmas tree made of balls

What do you need

• Glue gun;
• foam blank;
• Christmas balls of different sizes;
• Christmas tree beads.

How to do

Glue balls to the workpiece, alternating different sizes. Try to keep as little space between them as possible. Where it remains, glue the beads.

• long wooden stick;
• paper;

How to do

Pin a needle to the center of the cardboard. Tie a rope or thread to it and a pencil. Use this tool to draw an even circle on the cardboard. Draw a spiral in it, as shown in the video.

Cut the workpiece along the lines and tape over the edges. Paint it with white paint. Glue part of the syringe firmly to the center of the workpiece. Insert a stick into the tree stand, wrapping paper around the bottom for security. Paint the stick white.

Punch three holes evenly in each ring of the cardboard blank. Thread a wire through them and attach the blank to the top of the stick and to the stand. Use a wire to secure the garland to the stick and around the edges of the tree. Hang on the last balls, glue a bow or a star on top.

9. Napkin accessories

• green yarn.

How to do

Use a knife to slightly sharpen the twigs. Peel off a little more bark on one side. Paint the top with red paint, and white underneath and around the cut-off area. It will be a hat and a beard.

Fold two opposite corners of the napkin towards the middle. Attach a spruce twig and a piece of wood to the center of each napkin and tie with a yarn bow.

10. Snowflakes from pasta

• Curly pasta;
• Super glue;
• brush;
• blue paint;
• gold glitter;
• tape or thread.

How to do

Glue a small circle from several pasta. Glue another row of pasta above and between them. Then connect them so that the snowflake has several corners. Its drawing can be anything depending on the type of products and your imagination.
