Unique Christmas decorations made of paper, felt, plastic bottles, wine corks and other materials.
Christmas toys from bushings
What do you need
- Sleeve;
- scissors;
- yarn.
How to do
Bend the sleeve and cut it across into several equal wide pieces.
Separate many of the same lengths from the yarn.
Unfold the parts from the bushings. Insert a piece of yarn folded in half into one of them.
Thread the ends of the thread through the loop and tighten.
Tie a few more pieces of yarn in this way. Move the threads that are on the core so that the cardboard is not visible.
Tie the threads around the sleeve completely.
Divide the ends of the yarn in two. Twist each one slightly and pull through the ring. The detailed process is shown in the video below. Straighten the threads.
Tie the yarn over the ring with another piece of thread, forming a hat.
Trim the ends of the threads to create a fluffy pompom.
In the same way, make hats from the remaining parts of the sleeve. For hanging, tie yarn loops on top.

Christmas toys made of ice cream sticks
What do you need
- Ice cream sticks;
- ruler;
- pencil;
- scissors;
- wood glue;
- toothpick;
- brush;
- brown paint;
- red paint;
- twine or other thread;
- White paint.
How to do
Cut off the ends from four sticks so that you get two pieces 6, 3 cm long and two pieces 7, 6 cm long. You also need three elements without rounding 3, 2 cm long and one 4.5 cm long. Prepare two more whole sticks about 11 cm long. If you have other sticks, choose the sizes by eye yourself.
On two whole parts, make three marks at a distance of 1, 9 cm from each other. Measure the first from the point where the stick's curvature ends. Apply glue with a toothpick to the marks on one part.
Place it on the edge and glue three short identical parts to it, as shown in the photo.
Grease the marks on the second whole stick with glue and attach it to the short pieces.
When the piece is dry, paint over it with brown paint. The rest of the sticks are red. Let the coating dry completely.
Place the four rounded pieces on top of the short sticks, two long in the middle and two on the edges. Leave small gaps between them. Trim their straight edges with a whole stick. Place the last piece on the other side.
Carefully glue the red pieces to the brown blank. Remove the whole stick, it will no longer be needed. Tie a piece of string on both sides to the short red piece to form a loop.
Apply white paint to the edges of the red pieces.
The second part of the video tutorial shows how to make an incredibly cool ski set from the same sticks:

Christmas decorations made of paper
What do you need
- Light paper;
- ruler;
- pencil;
- scissors;
- awl;
- golden rope;
- thin wire;
- glue;
- large light bead;
- bright paper.
How to do
Cut a 15 cm square and a 15 x 8 cm rectangle out of the paper.
Fold the edge of the square about 1 cm. Then flip it over and fold it back again. Repeat until the entire piece is folded in an accordion.
Gather the rectangle into an accordion, starting from the narrow edge.
Fold the large square accordion in half. In the middle of the fold, make a hole with an awl.
Fold the second accordion in half and pierce it in the same place.
Cut off the required amount of string to make the hanging loop. Fold the ends together, form a loop and tie a knot. Remove excess.
Wrap the wire around the loop. Fold the ends together. Thread the wire through the hole in the large accordion.
Pull out most of the rope. Then, in the same way, thread the wire and string through the hole of the small accordion.
Tighten the rope so that the pieces touch each other. Glue the two halves of the large accordion together.
Grease the bottom of the small accordion with glue and attach to the large one.
Put a bead on the wire and lower it to the paper blank. Remove the wire. Tie the string in a knot over the bead to keep it from falling out.
Spread the angel's wings by lifting the paper towards the bead. Spread out the bottom.
Glue a heart made of bright paper under the bead.
The video instruction shows how to make a collar instead of a heart for such a toy. And there are also three other ways to create an angel out of paper.

Christmas toys made of felt
What do you need
- Cardboard;
- pencil;
- scissors;
- green felt;
- crayon;
- invisible or paper clips;
- needle;
- green threads;
- light ribbon;
- synthetic winterizer or cotton wool;
- ready-made red bow or red ribbon;
- glue gun;
- bulk paint or beads.
How to do
Draw a small circle on the cardboard. Draw a smaller circle inside. For convenience, you can trace the covers or something else. Cut out the shape along all the lines.
Attach the template to the felt and trace around with chalk. You will need two of these parts.
Cut out felt blanks.
Fold one in half. Use scissors to zig-zag the edge on the small semicircle.
Place this part on top of another. The sides with chalk marks should be inside. Make the same patterned edge on the second part, cutting along the outline of the first. Then make the edge openwork and on the outside of both pieces of felt.
For reliability, connect the parts for a while with invisible or paper clips. Sew the round pieces from the outside edge. Leave a small hole in one place. Insert the ribbon there so that it forms a loop, and sew.
Stuff the toy with padding polyester or cotton wool and sew up the inner edge. Glue a ready-made or homemade ribbon bow from the bottom.
Make small toys on the wreath from voluminous paint or beads.

Christmas toys from foamiran
What do you need
- Glitter foamiran in two different colors;
- pencil - optional;
- scissors;
- glue gun;
- ribbon;
- beads.
How to do
Cut eight small circles from each color of foamiran. To make them even, take some kind of lid and press it against the material from the back side or trace with a pencil.
Fold each circle in half and cut along the fold.
Then fold each piece in half with the glitter side inward. Glue from the inside from the straight side.
Now connect two triangles of the same color. You need to glue them in the places where the folds are. In total, you will have eight blanks of each color.
Apply glue to the straight side of one piece and attach a piece of a different color to it. Attach six more shapes, alternating colors. The extreme ones should be different.
Make another similar detail. Spread both out slightly on the glitter side.
Glue the pieces together, joining the colored pieces in the same way as in the previous step. From above and below glue the places where the reverse side of the foamiran is visible. See the video below for a detailed process.
Cut two small strips of foamiran of each color. Glue each in half lengthwise.
Twist one strip, smearing it with glue for reliability. Attach a loop from the tape to the edge of the second strip and also form a glued "snail".
Spread glue from the inside of the hole on the ball. Insert the prepared parts there. They should protrude outward by about half.
Glue beads into the holes between the bottom and top of the ball.

Christmas toys from plastic bottles
What do you need
- Plastic bottle;
- decorative thin tape;
- scissors;
- stationery knife;
- glue gun;
- thin ribbons of two different colors;
- fabric glue - optional.
How to do
Place tape around the bottle in two places at the top and bottom where the constriction begins. The bottle should be straight between the inner edges of the tape. Cut it along these lines.
You no longer need the bottom and top of the bottle. Divide the middle cut piece into four identical rings.
Lightly light the edges of each with a hot iron. Apply some hot glue to the part in one place and attach the tip of the ribbon at an angle.
Wrap the ring completely, always with the tape at the same angle. Cut off the excess tip and fix the decor with glue.
Use fabric glue to attach the sequins to the tape. You can use hot glue, only you have to apply it very carefully so that it is not visible.
Wrap another ring with ribbon of the same color and decorate with sequins. Wrap the other two parts with tape of a different shade; you do not need to decorate them additionally.
Lubricate one ring on the outside with hot glue in two opposite places. Place the part inside another ring of the same type. Glue them so that they are perpendicular to each other.
Put the third ring on the workpiece and fix it at the intersection of the two previous ones - evenly between them.
Glue the last ring perpendicular to the element you just added.
Tie a ribbon at the intersection and make a beautiful bow out of it. Here, tie a loop for hanging from a ribbon of a different color.
