We have already told you. Now an article for those who travel outside the metropolis this weekend. Here are seven ideas to keep yourself and your loved ones busy away from civilization.
Go on an excursion
Many people believe that in the dacha settlements and villages of the attractions only nature. This is not true. For example, just 34 kilometers southeast of Moscow is the ancient village of Bykovo. It was founded during the Tatar-Mongol yoke, and in the 18th century, thanks to the efforts of V. I. Bazhenov, it acquired an exquisite architectural appearance. The master transformed the local estate and built the majestic temple of the Vladimir Mother of God (1789).
Explore what cultural and historical attractions are near your country house and go on a guided tour. Such trips are not only entertaining, but also broadening one's horizons.
Ethnic and agritourism is also actively developing now. If there is an ethnographic park nearby, you can get acquainted with the customs, folklore and life of some people. Find out how they lived, what they ate and what their representatives wore decades ago. And on an agricultural tour, you will probably be offered to milk a cow or chop wood. Great experience for city dwellers who think work = office + computer.:)
Arrange a sports tournament
If you go out of town with friends, a volleyball or courtyard football tournament is what you need for fun. Bring your inventory, split into teams, and schedule the tournament. Don't forget the cool prize for champions.
Team games in the open air unite the team, give a sea of excitement and positiveness and charge you with health. The main thing is to follow some rules. For example, when it comes to football, reduce the length of the halves to 25-30 minutes and take half-hour breaks between games. This will give the teams time to rest and recover. Any product or drink will help to give you strength: eat a piece of kebab with a leaf of lettuce between matches, or drink a glass of cola - the sweet soda will help you recharge due to the sugar it contains.
Go to the forest
A walk in the forest is dizzyingly fresh air, birdsong, forest smells and endless harmony, which is so lacking for the city's residents. In the forest, everyone will find something to do with their interests. Some will be carried away by picking berries and mushrooms (the season is already!), While others will simply contemplate nature, take pictures and be photographed. Plus, the forest trails are great for jogging workouts.
Appetite awakens in the forest. Sweet drinks will help you to quickly restore strength: glucose is needed to supply energy to the brain and muscles. The main thing is to observe the measure. The recommended average daily intake of sugar for an adult is 65 g. You can safely drink a glass of Coca-Cola (10.6 g of sugar per 100 ml) or orange juice (13 g of sugar per 100 ml).
Also remember that the forest can be fraught with dangers: from insect bites to fires. If you've never been in the wild before, take a closer look at ours.
Go fishing
When there is a river or a lake nearby, there are no problems with leisure: if the weather permits, you can relax there for at least whole days. A special luck when there is fish in the reservoir.
Everyone should sit with a fishing rod waiting for a bite at least once in a lifetime. Perhaps you will like it, and then you will find a new hobby for yourself.;) Practice shows that even girls like fishing.
If luck is on your side and you manage to catch something, then you will provide yourself and your loved ones with a delicious dinner - fish soup or grilled fish.
Set up a spa
The best way to relax in the countryside is a sauna. It heals, invigorates and rejuvenates.
It is believed that the Russian bath promotes the restoration of damaged tissues and is indicated for the treatment of bruises and sprains. Periodically pouring cool water over a heated body improves blood circulation. And self-massage with a broom perfectly burns those extra pounds.
A bath with essential oils improves breathing and helps in the fight against respiratory diseases. Put a few drops of spruce, eucalyptus or cedar nut oil on the stove, apply and inhale the pine scent. For women, a bath can replace a trip to the spa: it is convenient to carry out cosmetic procedures (peeling, masks, etc.) on steamed skin.
However, in order to feel the benefits of the bath, you need to be able to walk into it correctly. Golden Rules:
- The total duration of bath procedures should not exceed 2 hours with a maximum of two to three visits to the steam room. Do not spend more than 5-7 minutes in the steam room (children 1-2 minutes). If you feel faint or dizzy, leave the steam room immediately.
- There is profuse sweating in the bath. To keep your body hydrated, you need to drink enough fluids. Iced tea, fruit drinks, compote, sweet soda like cola, juices are suitable - all of them are 85-99% water.
- Do not go to the bathhouse with a full stomach: this increases the already considerable load on the heart. But you should not go hungry either: washing in a bath requires a lot of energy. Have a snack before the bath with fruits or vegetables.
Get creative
There is nothing more inspiring than nature. The best works of Levitan, Polenov, Savrasov and other great artists are rural landscapes.
Having escaped from the bustle of the city for the weekend, give yourself up to creativity. Which one depends on your preference. Do you like painting? Go to the open air. Prefer photography? Search for a subject for a photo essay or shoot a series of portraits. Are you fond of music? Take your favorite musical instrument with you. Like writing? Pour your thoughts onto paper in poetry or prose.
A weekend outside the city is a great opportunity to discover or develop your talents. Here are some articles to help you with this:

Meet the dawn
After an active day at the dacha, there is usually a wonderful sleep. But do not be lazy, set the alarm an hour before sunrise and see with your own eyes how the sun rises. This is a mesmerizing and incredibly romantic sight. Lovers will surely like this idea. It is also helpful. Healthcare professionals know that there are at least six reasons to wake up before sunrise.
Take with you a blanket (it can be cold in the early morning), a raincoat (it will protect you from dew) and something tasty. While waiting for the first rays of the sun, it is pleasant to eat a slice of chocolate or a small cake and drink tea from a thermos. Such moments unite, give coziness and are remembered for a lifetime.
We hope our ideas have convinced you that a trip out of town can be more than just barbecues and doing nothing. Weekends at the dacha can be fun and useful. Write in the comments what you like to do away from the stone jungle.
