Xiaomi, as part of the Mijia sub-brand, has released a Wi-Fi-enabled home heater. It can be controlled remotely from a smartphone through a proprietary application, which allows, for example, to turn it on on the way home so that by your arrival the air in the room is already at the desired temperature.

You can also use voice commands and buttons on the body. The latter allow you to set the exact temperature value, set the operating time or set up automatic maintenance of the required heat level. The device will turn on by itself when the temperature drops below a certain mark.

According to the developers, the Mijia device heats the room much faster than oil radiators and does not dry the air. It can be used even in the bathroom, since the case has IPX4 protection - it is not afraid of dust and steam.

Among other things, an automatic shutdown is provided when the device is heated up to 95 ° C or if the device is tilted more than 45 °. That is, an accidentally dropped heater will immediately turn off.

The official price of the novelty was 299 yuan, or about 3,000 rubles, which ensured success on the Xiaomi branded crowdfunding site. In just a few hours, the device received over 10,000 applications, which means that in the near future it can be expected in Chinese online stores.
