Pop-itts are soft silicone or rubber mats of different colors, shapes and sizes with rows of hemispheres on one side. Due to the elasticity of the material, when pressed on the bulges, they fall inward with a characteristic sound and tactile sensations. But unlike the aforementioned film, pop-it can be “burst” an unlimited number of times, simply by turning it over to the other side. So they are also called eternal pimples.

What is simple-dimple

These anti-stress toys are similar to pop-ites, but differ from them in the number of bubbles and, accordingly, in size. This is no longer a rug with dozens of hemispheres, but a small keychain with two or three bulges. We can say that a simple dimple is a smaller, simplified version of a pop-it. Pop and simple dimples owe much of their viral success to TikTok. They quickly became fashionable among children and adolescents, and the algorithms of the social network, due to the recommendations of the content, greatly increased the recognition of toys. At first, the more mature audience of TikTok became interested in them, perplexed by the new hobbies of young people, and later they started talking about pop-it-s and simple-dimples in other social networks and not only.

Videos where users press silicone bubbles with their fingers gain millions of views and likes. Children and adults alike are recording ASMR videos, doing reviews, testing anti-stress properties, and even making homemade pop-it-yourself pops.

Should you be afraid of new toys

There is no particular harm from pop-eats and simple-dimples. Fidget spinners: Purported benefits, adverse effects and accepted alternatives are the only chances for young children.
