Each of us has our own little secrets or secret hobbies. Do not think anything bad, these are completely innocent things. For example, you hang out for hours on one of the strange channels that we recently told you about.

Now YouTube for Android has a special private mode that will help you hide your browsing and search history from others. To activate it, you just need to click on your avatar in the upper right corner, and then select the "Enable incognito mode" item.

After enabling private mode, the user's avatar changes to the image of a man in a hat and glasses, and a corresponding notification is displayed at the very bottom of the page. At the same time, the service does not save any information about the videos you watched and other actions in your account. Also, there is no access to your subscriptions, notifications and browsing history. If you try to go to one of these sections, you will be prompted to turn off private mode first.

To return to normal mode, just click on the icon in the upper right corner again, and then select the "Disable incognito mode" item in the menu.

The new feature is already available on YouTube for Android version 13.24.59 and newer. Make sure your app is up to date, or do this manually.
