Recipe number 1. Mandarin, grapefruit and mint
Ingredients:
- 2 liters of water;
- 1 tangerine or small orange;
- ½ grapefruit;
- 1 cucumber;
- 4 mint leaves;
- ice (optional).
Preparation
Cut the tangerine and grapefruit into thin slices and the cucumber into thin slices. Mix all the ingredients in a container, fill with water and send to the refrigerator to infuse overnight.
Mandarin increases insulin sensitivity, stabilizes blood sugar and stimulates fat burning.
Grapefruit boosts metabolism, fat burning and energizing.
Cucumber gives you a feeling of fullness and is a natural diuretic, helping to avoid bloating and swelling.
Peppermint stimulates appetite.
Recipe number 2. Cucumber and melon
Ingredients:
- 1 large cucumber;
- ½ large melon;
- 3 glasses of cold water;
- 1 glass of ice.
Preparation
Cut the cucumber into thin slices and the melon into small cubes. Mix all the ingredients, cover with water and refrigerate for a couple of hours or overnight. Add ice before serving.
This fruit water is great for travel as it quenches your thirst well.
Recipe number 3. Apple and cinnamon
Ingredients (1 serving):
- 4-6 apple slices;
- 200 ml of water;
- a pinch of cinnamon;
- ice.
Preparation
Put the apple slices in a glass, add a little cinnamon, cover with water and let it brew for at least 10 minutes. Add ice to the glass before serving.
If you want to make more drink, then cut two apples into slices, fill with a liter of water, add a cinnamon stick there and refrigerate overnight.
This drink is an excellent energizer and alternative to apple juice. Cinnamon normalizes digestion, lowers blood sugar and is an antioxidant. Wonderful ingredient choice for a detox drink.
Recipe number 4. Blackberries and lime
Ingredients:
- 180 g blackberries;
- 3 limes;
- ½ cup mint leaves;
- 2 liters of water;
- ice.
Preparation
Cut the lime into thin slices. Place about half of all blackberries, mint leaves, and lime slices in a decanter. Mash a little, cover with water and add the rest of the ingredients. Leave in the refrigerator to brew a little. Add ice before serving.
As already mentioned, mint awakens the appetite and soothes. Blackberries are rich in vitamins A, E, B, PP, P, K, strengthens the immune system and improves metabolism. Lime also increases appetite, normalizes digestion and has antioxidant properties.
