When confectioner Dominique Ansel presented his simple invention in his own New York coffee shop, the audience was surprised. Small shots of milk and espresso made entirely from chocolate chip cookies have become a worldwide hit. We'll go beyond Dominic and prepare full-size cups that you can not only pour milk into, but also fill them with your favorite desserts.

Actually, there are no tricks in this cookie recipe. First of all, beat soft (room temperature) butter with sugar until white. Add an egg and a pinch of salt to the beaten butter, mix everything well again.

After sifting the flour, add to the butter-egg mixture one third of the total amount at a time.

At the very end, put chocolate chips, mix and let the dough rest in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Now about the forms. As a base, an enamel mug is ideal, which most of us will surely find in the kitchen. Lubricate the sides of the mug with plenty of butter, and then proceed to distribute the dough. The thickness of the cookie layer should be about 0.5 cm - ideal so that the cup is baked evenly and does not crumble during filling.

We put cups of dough in the oven for half an hour at 180 degrees on duty. If you whipped excess butter or unevenly distributed the dough along the bottom and it began to rise - without panic, the dough after removing from the oven will still be plastic enough to give it its lost shape.

We completely cool the cups and cover them with a layer of melted chocolate from the inside, it is he who will protect the cookies from deoxidation when filled with liquid.

After the chocolate has solidified, you can start tasting it. And do not forget to drink milk to the health of Dominique Ansel!
